Do you think we will ever see a killer as slow as nurse ever again?

I tend to like the 110% movement speed killers better because there powers are usually very strong but I’m left wondering how long will it be or if ever will we see a killer that’s slower then 110% again

No. Something as slow as Nurse would have a somewhat similar ability (at least in strength) to make up for it. They will not release something like that in the future. Nurse, as she is, would not have been released today.

Why is it JUST movement speed though? Why don't we have more killers with faster vault (besides Mikey) or natural brutal strength or enduring? There's so many stats they could tinker with.

The problem with "slower than survivors" killers is that they NEED a movement ability.

Stealth is too unreliable to catch people off guard. And you see what riots the spirit is inciting with her invisibility. A mirror myers at that speed would be useless.

Probably not. Nurse is that slow because of her... Well, completely overpowered kit that leaves absolutely no room whatsoever for counterplay, meaning that the only hope anyone has is that the Nurse in question cannot aim.

I genuinely don't think there's another killer that could be that slow but with a different power, except maybe Hag with infinite teleport distance and immunity to crouching/flashlights.

Indoor Maps would be a nightmare for a flying killer.

A jumping killer might work, though.

To add on to this, even if there was another theoretical Killer power as strong as Spencer's Last Breath I don't really think the devs would add it.

They've said repeatedly that they look more to make fun and interesting Killers - not strong ones. I don't think they'll ever design another Killer quite on Nurse's level.

And having a Killer that isn't faster than Survivors would just be terrible unless they had a Nurse level power to balance it.

Indoor levels would be awkward unless they have a special schtick where they ignore window vaults and can hop back onto 2nd story windows.

    Otherwise mite b kool.

Slower than survivors has to meet 1 criteria: their ability must be so overwhelmingly powerful that they have to be slow to account for it. Nurse can ignore all means of defense, and jumpscare Myers sees all survivor movement and has no terror radius.

And we all know why stealth is garbage. Cough! It's Spine Chill. Cough!

Maybe. Nurse is the only thing that really requires skill in this game so far, therefore why she is so powerful. Perhaps in the future we would continue to see high skill/high reward killers, it would be nice.

In my opinion they are the most fun to play and to verse. But i'm a very competitive person, casual people might not think the same. Nurse on proper hands can be really frustrating to play against, specially if you are chill survivor. Same thought process can apply for future killers.

Unlikely. Nurse has the strongest power in the game. Even after being drastically nerfed, she is still considered the strongest killer in the game by many. Literally the only reason she's not used more is because she is so hard to use (a necessity due to just how strong she is). I highly doubt BHVR wants to create another killer like that. In fact, I don't think BHVR even realized how powerful Nurse was when they created her; it's just something that happened.

Those who don't play her anymore where those who relied on Omega Blink/3 Blink with more Range or 4/5 Blink Nurse to win. Those who played base Nurse (like me) those adapted to the cooldown. Blinking right after fatigue was never a good idea anyways. You had to position yourself right, get LoS to the Survivor and then blink. That took about 2-3 Seconds which is the current Cooldown.

Nurse is one of my favourites but I don't play her as much because I try to play every Killer but I still destroy with her. Won't imagine how I'd be if I played Nurse only for Weeks.

I'm fine with more 110/115% killers like Blight. I tried to get into Nurse but never had the patience for it. And ever when I started doing okay with her in mid level games, I felt no satisfaction from a good Blink like I do a hatchet or Blight rush.

Blight has a pretty high skill ceiling but also doesnt punish you as hard as Nurse.

Nurse has a practically limitless skill ceiling that very few if any players will ever meet. And no matter how good you are as a team of survivors if the Nurse is stronger even slightly you're absolutely boned and there's very little you can do. She's also consistently buggy and broken.

I see a lot of good Nurse players straight up not play her in normal public games because of how strong of a pubstomper she is/they don't find her fun to play.

I know a lot of killer players only care if the killer is "high tier" and not if they fun to play as or against. For me, an interesting/unique power is by far the most exciting thing about a new killer. It's why I love Blight and hate the more derivative killers like Slinger.

It's possible with dynamic movement speeds e.g. like Myers or Spirit who start off slow but can become faster through their power, but for a killer with a static movement speed, it is extremely unlikely to ever happen.

And she STILL doesn't have counterplay, She's so busted that it's basically entirely up to the Nurse how the match'll go, Im not saying that's bad, I've been playing this game for over 4 years at this point and have only seen such a Nurse maybe 5 times, but I think it's interesting how drastically skill dependant Nurse is.

Yeah, that's the reason they're ignoring her atm. They're happy nobody plays her.

LOL! I have a love/hate relationship with Nurse as a Survivor. There's very little grey area in a match vs. Nurse. Either she's gonna be a fish and it's Bloodpoint Heaven. Or, the Nurse knows what she's doing.....in which case, none of the Survivors are going to live.

On the flip side, there is little in this game that is more satisfying than managing to make a competent Nurse break off the chase. :)

You mean besides Myers who starts at 105% and depending on the Build stays at that speed, or depending on the Add-on can actually be slower? :)

I just played a game as her. It was horrible. Still got Brutal though!

Aside from her Bugs, she is fine. And for the Bugs, those are Dedicated Servers-related (both went live at the same time, even tho I want to remind that the Dedicated Servers were a "test", and despite not working good, they were released). And the Devs have a hard time fixing Dedicated Server-related issues. My guess is, they will never be able to fix them.

I mean we could argue about her being effectively ~105% without addons making her horrificly addon dependant, but fixing her bugs would be a nice start.
