Who else is reliant on Dead Hard
Dead Hard helps me out so many times when I make a mistake like running into a wall, misjudging a distance or straight up losing track of the Killer mid-chase. I wish I could say I use the perk in a really smart way but usually it's just the duck tape that holds my janky looping together.

I can't stand to even mouse my cursor over that perk because of how much trouble it has given me as a killer. The fact that you could just erase any mistakes you make with a single button press is just soooooo annoying.
Balanced Landing gang rise up (and fall).

I mostly use it for those goofy situations where I unhook someone right in front of the hiller. Get hit, unhook, deadhard just barely in time, and now we both have a bit of a headstart.
Very satisfying.

I've been trying to play without it lately to slot more "fun" perks like Autodidact or Adrenaline. Not having it makes me feel really vulnerable when injured but it hasn't been too bad unless I'm against one of the top tier killers like Nurse, Freddy, or Spirit. I know when I play killer someone Dead Harding to a pallet or window after making a mistake and then prolonging the chase for 20+ seconds is really frustrating and I'm trying to just get better in general.

I'm not reliant, but it sure does help.

Best thing i did was remove it from my mains. My first char was David bc of WGLF and i got stuck with dead hard while level Bill and Jake after. Never really learned to use even other exhaustion perks, but recently if been forced to play felix due to rituals and I got no exhaustion perks on him. I had such an amazing time not seeing myself exhausted on the ground that I decided to not use it anymore.
Moved on to learn Balanced Landing and, while it's much more inconsistent to activate, it has such a depth of usage that it got me hooked. It's much easier to lose chases and so fun. Just wished the devs put more assets in maps to help bc right now there are maps that the only way to use it is to jump in the basement.

Well... I do use it every game, so I guess I am reliant on it.
It's just so good and opens up so many opportunities in a chase and acts as a backup if needed. I would play much more safe without it... which is one of the reasons I use it. That's boring.

This one is just so unreliable to me that I never equip it any more. Way too often I lie exhausted on the floor. I always preferred Lithe, but here actually the same started to happen after vaults. So now I mostly play without exhaustion perks.. and doing just fine I think.

I used to consider it an auto-include but the game has taken it away from me so many times, I don't even bother half the time.

Never use it for precisely that reason. I always feel like I'll start relying on it to make up for my mistakes, and I'd rather try and learn from them (I swear it'll happen one day).

I'm more of a balanced landing fan when I do run an exhaustion perk but if not balanced than dead hard/lithe are my go to choices, I don't like to use dead hard alot because I get too cocky with how much distance I have and try to squeeze an extra loop before I use it to get to a window or pallet so that when it is used its like I pushed a reset button on the chase

Nah, I like mostly not running exhaustion perks, bc then when I do put one on it feels amazing. Less so with lithe or SB, because I forget I have it, trigger it and crash into a tree at 500 mph (megs per hour)

I don't like it, since I'm usually left exhausted on the ground when I try to use it.

Would use other exhaustion perks if they weren't more trash than a bugged perk.

I'm not a fan of exhaustion perks and I seldom use them. If I use them it's the other ones not Dead Hard so I guess I'm the anti DH reliant survivor. There are lot's of great perks to use as survivor and in my book DH is not one of them.

Most times I find myself using Sprint burst instead because at least with Sprint burst it's guaranteed to work. Because of players pings sometimes dead hard will activate, but nothing will happen because the hit validation won the coin toss.

People always say dead hard is a good exhaust perk but I don't really like it, It's situational (for me at least) it's only really worth using to close a small gap between you and a pallet/loop, if you use it for distance you are gonna go down anyways.

I tend to not use exhaustion perks on survivor at all. Personally I like Lithe more than Dead Hard.

I like Dead Hard because if the killer tunnels you, it can be enough to buy you time to get to a vault if you're in a bad spot. It can also buy you time in chase. If you're good with it, when it works, it can extend chases significantly. If you're not, it doesn't really extend the chase very much unless a survivor is really lucky.
It's the only 'second chance' perk I tend to run.

Yeah pretty much. It’s my favourite exhaustion perk. I like using sprint burst sometimes but get annoyed with having to walk about everywhere to save it.
Also I main killer so I know how strong it is compared to the others.

I dont deadhard is a cheese perk. Being able to instantly correct your mistakes and instantly turn a good mindgame void is dumb to me. I usually expect deadhard are the weaker survivors.

I don't use it, got fed up of being exhausted on the floor most of the time. If I use an exhaustion perk it's either Lithe or Head On for me, I find them to be more reliable and fun to use, Lithe can really help me with getting distance especially with Q&Q in a chase.

I never got reliant on it, I'm so happy... I removed it from my usualy builds and am just trying to help me and my teammates in solo Qs with perks like kindred or better together..

I use it from time to time but I switch it out for other things. I like DH and I don't have too much of an issue with it when playing as killer. I just hate how inconsistent it is. There have been times it saved my life. Other times I press the button, I got hit anyway yet I am still exhausted. If the killer is Billy or Bubba I never get to use DH because of the chainsaw. Lately I've been running SB encase I'm working on a gen and a killer gets the drop on me. I'll even use lithe, balanced landing or even head on.

Almost never leaves my build. I think it's the strongest survivor perk, even considering how unreliable it is due to dedicated servers

I'd like to have Exhaustion perks turned off for a weekend and see how it effects death rates. I bet it would be massive.

This. It's a very good perk, but I'm not reliant on it either. I sometimes don't even use any exhaustion perks and I usually do fine.
