- This is huge news for the game. Personally I have mixed feeling aboiut XQC as he's been in a lot of drama recently. However, I'm more happy that game is doing better on Twitch

it's not huge news, he's played dbd before. he's literally only playing rn because he's banned from nopixel.

If XQC really is enjoying DBD now compared to the last time he played it, then maybe he might add it to the list of games he might play. The dude is big on Twitch, and he normally does a variety of different games which is something I like looking for in a content creator/streamer. Plus who knows how advanced at Trapper he would become if Otz taught him Trapper, meanwhile whenever I'm watching Otz I'm still learning these insane trap spots that he finds.

xQc is toxic at times, but he's a huge streamer that would bring a lot of attention to the game. The only problem I see is a big spike in toxicity- if you look at his audience a lot of them are pretty toxic.

I genuinely want to see how someone that might not watch dbd content navigates loops. or if he naturally get to the idea of reversing loops to force survivors into a dead zone.

Why’s that? I have heard that Xqc has a bit of a dodgy history (Apparently he said something homophobic aimed at a gay person but again unsure if that’s true as it’s from Wikipedia lol) but he hasn’t done anything recently has he?

Oh! The Winston main saying Junkrat, Mercy, and other heroes were "no aim, no brain" heroes that basically rallied his followers to harass those players and any pros who picked up those heroes while playing Winston which was the least aim intensive Tank. Not sure I really want his input on the game's balance.
But alas, I hope he enjoys his time and has matured since then.

I doubt its for 'the community'. He's a streamer, he's a youtuber. Playing or even having XQC on his stream, is going to bring him added revenue and viewers. Aint no coincidence that the one time in a blue moon, XQC picks up DbD for 2 hours, Otz tries to reach out. I'll believe its for the community if he helps him while being offline, otherwise its 95% to benefit himself and his channel. Like you said, hes a businessman and his livelihood/himself will always be the #1 prio.
I also doubt X will take him up on that offer anytime soon, as he was just unbanned on NoPixel and played some off stream. Will likely be his main game besides Minecraft, but hopefully he does play more of DbD.
Anyone saying he's toxic and not what the game needs, please shhhh. The community is bad enough and if it brings thousands of new viewers to try the game out, that's a good thing not bad. If toxicity is such a problem for you, then maybe hop off a multiplayer game because most similar games have it. It aint just DbD.
