Xbox Series S---No lobbies
First day playing this on the new console. Got stuck in a lobby with killer leaving every 5 seconds. After that, the rest of the day, every other hour, have not found 1 lobby as a survivor or killer. I can see online that there have been massive issues with this game on the new console and hasnt been fixed yet.

I tested a few things since this post. Crossplay enabled is the only way to find a lobby right now. ive played this game for 7 months with crossplay off no problem but on the Series S, it seems like thats the only way to play right now. Temporary fix. Havent experienced a crash like others have said.

The problem is with crossplay turned off; you are only matching against other series X and possibly PS5 users because you have improved performance over the old gen. Due to the stock issues currently it's a very low player pool.

As @TunnelVision has said, the player pool for the next gen consoles are still pretty small (a lot of that is due to difficulty getting hold of them I am sure!), so it can take a very long time to play a match purely with next gen players as you will only be matched with those that also have crossplay switched off (this is of course presuming you keep crossplay off).

ah, well ill keep it on. it does run pretty good. im hoping the number grows soon. xbox users are extremely toxic by nature but its not fun playing against pc players at all in any game.

if it matters, this game doesn’t change much if you play with PC players IMO. it doesn’t give much of an advantage like other games, aside from frames being better on their end. it’s the same.
