Um is this a exploit or Intentional (PH)

An oversight that's the name for it... I didn't want to use exploit but didn't know what to call it

Idk if I'm wrong or not but doesn't DS stun last longer

thats not an exploit, but why in the world would anyone waste their precious time doing that?
they literally give you a free second chance, that stuff is going to lose them the game pretty damn fast if they keep doing it...

Not an exploit, in fact that's a horrible idea and anyone can agree on that. It gives survivors WAY more time to do objectives. Just hook 'em and find another survivor, no point in doing that.

Depending on where you are on the map and if the survivor is at 2 hooks, could get a mori in about the same time as a hook. Still not much benefit though lol

DS stun lasts 5 seconds. It feels like the wiggle free stun is a bit shorter, but i dont think so. It seems like the same animation. But even if its only 3 seconds, you have enough time to reach a loop.

It's almost equivalent to a Plague vomiting on an injured Survivor to prevent them from healing or a Pig stalking a Survivor with a trap to ensure they die to the trap.
Counter-intuitive gameplay and wastes time for the Killer.

I think a better example he could use is... So using the window vault trick against the twins in Haddonfield isn't an exploit because the best Twin users cant get to the survivor using Victor which makes The Twins power basically useless but it's fine because the survivors are wasting time by not doing gens

Ok, so PH forcing tormented by wiggling out is an exploit, but flashlight blinding during animation isn't? When in both scenarios, the affected player had no power over the situation and does not want the action against them to be performed (your VERY DEFINITION of an exploit, btw)? Care to elaborate that discrepancy?

lol 100% that was a level of straw manning and wildy made up scenarios that I've not seen Ina while...made absolutely no sense.
*Insert crazy unrealistic scenario* "I bet you think that's ok don't you? Please say yes"

but other survivors are denied stacks of We're Gonna Live Forever. Their We'll Make It won't activate. The survivors are being punished, as they should be for being tormented, but it was not through the intended normal gameplay

Blinding is part of normal gameplay and game design. Tormenting a survivor by forcing them to wiggle free is an abuse of an unintended oversight

Sure, if that survivor has SWF team members ready to bodyblock and the exits are 99%'d.
Look at how fast the OP went down afterwards.

This thread got a little heated so I want to clear something up. This is not an exploit. The killer can drop the survivor onto the trail, same as Trapper can drop a survivor onto a trap. If you're going to wiggle off onto the trail as a survivor if you press the crouch button early enough you won't get tormented, and the killer also gets the stun. If you're still in the downed state when dropped, you won't get tormented. So no exploit at all.

Actually when survivor wiggle off they can go thru the trapper traps for like 5 seconds i am not telling this is an exploit or something

I dont think this discussion with you makes sense. This tactic is allowed. If you want to play pyramid with this tactic do it, i will not use this tactic bc i think its a waste.

So much for a poor PH doing his daily cage challenge lol. This thread went into weird direction

What's wrong with you?
The killer just gave the survivor a free DS!
In what universe has this benefited the killer? Unless you're such a terrible survivor that you can't make use of a DS escape.
This is giving the Survivor an advantage, in order for the killer to trigger his unique power, at the killers expense. They're throwing the game to do their daily ritual.
It's no different to when I did the Plague Challenge to fully infect 6 survivors, and instead of downing anyone or using Corrupt Purge, I just followed them around and spammed Vile Purge. Throwing the game in the process, but achieving my 6 infections.

This PH only did it in dead zones so it was hard to get use out of the free DS but yea ik what you mean by that

I mean we can't know that didn't happen. History doesn't treat the losers in war fairly.

Yeah, it's like people can't read at all. Or they've only done his daily against potatoes that don't avoid the trails. I've done every dirty trick I can think of to get my PH daily from doing what was done in this clip to bringing Lerys or Midwich offerings and proxy camping a hooked survivor surrounded by trails until the rescuer or hooked survivor gets tormented.

I've literally cornered a survivor before, got in behind them, and refused to hit them, so that they would walk through the torment covering their only exit, and they would rather sit there and self care right in my face, and then just hang out and get crows, chillin with PH, rather than walk through it...
I just want to do my damn daily ritual, please!

Yeah, I've had situations like that too, like they know that I'm throwing the game to get a daily done but they 100% want to deny me doing it even though everyone will probably escape.

Was this fixed in one of the last few updates?
because I am pretty sure I still got tormented in such a situation while holding down the crouch button all the time a few weeks ago, not sure which version it was though.
also you do get tormented while crouching and starting to cleanse a totem even though you hold the crouch button all the time iirc?
0 -
I think that's due to the change in the survivor stance when cleansing a totem @Mooks getting dropped onto the trail and crouching does work, it happened to me when playing survivor the other week when a killer tried to get me tormented the same way as in the OP's post.

No, it's the same principle. You don't get to pick and choose how it applies. And it's not a big deal anyway, PH's cages are super weak. If the killer was hardcore tunneling then it would be less time consuming to eat through a DS and two BT's. Mostly because doing this twice is practically two DS's.

I can see how it can be kinda unfair.
There's nothing that pisses me off more than dodging plague's vomit so much that she just gives up and M1s you, only for her to vomit at you on hook. Kinda bs.
