in Bug Reporting

Not sure if this is a bug or not. It's concerning either way.

I play on Stadia, and some weird things have been happening. When I log in to the game, sometimes a survivor or killer is selected that wasn't the last one I played with, and BP I know I didn't earn are showing up in my account (12-24k at a time). At first, I thought that maybe I'd just forgotten playing, but I can log out and log back in, and sometimes there will be 12k or so BP when I had only 2-3k before.

Well, I logged out of every device that Google/Stadia was connected to and changed my passwords, and then I made an account with Behaviour and linked it to my Stadia just to make sure no one was using crossplay on my account (I don't have the PC version, will be buying soon). It's still happening.

I'm not complaining about the free BP, but clearly something strange is happening. Either someone is using my account via Stadia or crossplay in a way I have yet to think of, or it's a bug.

Worth noting is that I've also had several times where the game will disconnect after freezing up (I can control the camera, but nothing else), and I'll get a connection error, despite the fact that I'm playing with Stadia (when my connection to Stadia fails, it usually keeps the game going and will be back when I reconnect, with no error, so this is something on either Stadia or Behaviour's end, not my connection).

If someone else has been using my account (either through Stadia or crossplay), I need to know how, because they're obviously not authorized, and I can't be responsible for their behavior, especially when I've spent money on this game and play it every day. But I can't seem to substantiate that theory.

I'm pretty sure the last couple of times, the extra bloodpoints have been the same number, although I didn't write it down and couldn't be sure (I will if it happens again). So I'm leaning towards "it's a bug", but I'm not sure.

    It's also worth noting that my email has definitely been compromised in the past, and people have logged into my Facebook account from other continents, which made me think I got hacked at first. Also, my phone was recently stolen, but I did reset my Google password and unlink it after getting a new phone.

    But some of the other things going on make me think this might be a bug instead of that, especially since it persisted even after securing my accounts.

    Free bloodpoints are always nice, but I felt like I should draw attention to this in case something unscrupulous is going on.

    If me getting free bloodpoints is not a high-priority issue for the devs, it sure isn't for me, but I also want to know if someone else might be using the account somehow. Is there any way I could speak to a mod about this or something?

    I'm mostly concerned that someone might use my account to do something against the ToS and get me banned. I'm not sure how that'd be possible at this point (especially since I'm only playing on Stadia until I can afford the PC version on Steam), but is there any way I could make sure?

    Are you sure you're not logging off Stadia BEFORE the game saves?

    No, I'm not sure. I'm not sure what that would do. I do know that the perks/addons I buy are still there with the additional BP.

    I know you marked this as not being a bug, but I think it is most likely a bug at this point, as evidence by the fact that I can log out and log back in while playing (I do this when I switch from computer to ChromeCast) and there will be extra BP there (I don't think someone can play on the same account at the same time?), and a bunch of other weird things have been happening (I've also been experiencing, for example, the fps slowdown when gens are completed, mentioned in another thread).

    Yes, my account is my responsibility, but I've secured it, and it's still happening. I can't discount the fact that something suspicious is happening with my account, but I'd sure like to know how, if that's possible.

    Someone tried to order porn using one of my accounts recently, so anything is possible, but.
