Experienced Legion Tips

Hey guys! I just started playing Legion again for the first time in forever. I'm doing alright, but I wanted to know what tactics, addons, and perk builds work best for them in the current game.

I only ask because I haven't played him in a while, and plenty of reworks and perk changes have come and gone since then, and I'd like to get the most of Legion.

There isn't such a thing as an experienced Legion. They don't have a skill cap.

If you see a survivor with killer instinct, but you know you cant reach him, cancel your power. When you then reach the survivor, you can use your power again.

Don't be afraid to use your power on a injured survivor. Especially if they are in a strong spot.

They can waste time mending while you find a weaker/closer to death target

Terror radius perks with his iridescent button work pretty well I like too run something like

    coulrophobia - thanatophobia - ruin - undying.

Aslong as you have a perk that will force pepole to heal and something that regress gens while they do so ur good. Blood echos another good option bc it can deny those ded hards pepole try to cancel ur frenzy with and forces a survivors to heal.

Legion is also great at slugging.

Too any one who says legions bad. ill see you next time you rage bc your tired of healing and I won't end my toxic frenzy.

I love playing legion, i play him at r1 all the time and can do ok versus decent teams.

    1) the biggest mistake I make is over estimating my ability to get to the next person. Just because you can see them with killer instinct doesnt mean youll get there. If someone is injured and out of position dont be afraid to cancel your power and chase them.

    2) because of that messing with legions terror radius isnt a great idea. M&a or distressing, tinkerer, these all seem like good ideas, theyre not.

3). Dont forget that legion can run. If you need to get to a gen to pop it, you can literally run. I hear people say to not do that, theyre wrong. It just depends on the situation but usually by the time youve popped the gen and caught back up your powers back anyway.

4). One of the biggest advantages legion has over other killers is you can very quickly find out who the weak link is on the team because youre chasing them all early on, dont be afraid to use that to your advantage.

Oh, just to add, a great build is surge, pop, thrilling tremors and enduring. Run double duration add ons. Believe it or not enduring is his best perk. You can stab someone with feral frenzy then bait the pallet stun and vety wuickly down the survivor not expecting it

Mindbreaker is also a great perk on him. Sometimes ill run pop, thrilling, mindbreaker and blood echo and it works pretty well. Its funny watching the dead harders have no idea what to do without their crutch

Ya I love that it forces survivors to chose between doing gens or being exaughsted and more often then not I find survivors waiting out the blood echo exaughston well all there freinds die. Another great build! XD

legion is good at few things, injuring survivors quickly so making them 1 hit, you however have many downsides to your ability and since you are a M1 you are loopable, but that's why these perks help your weaknesses and help your strengths, you injure many survivors at a time, ruin, they have to mend, they waste time mending and ruin does it's job, enduring, you'll often hit survivors on pallets and get stunned, if you are lucky when you'll get stunned you'll be at the same side as them and you can grab them when they vault the pallet, spirit fury, you never respect pallets because of enduring and you constantly get stunned because of it, so you remove their only defense against you, your last perk is up to you but I use bbq to know where to go to hopefully make ruin do it's job even more, and if they heal they lose gen progression and you just use FF again to remove all the healing progress they made and so lose even more time on the gens, and for add-ons if you plan to use this build you use the fatigue add-ons, but it's up to you to use anything else.

#1 tip, dont expect legion to be strong. They arent. They can be exploited very easily. This does not apply to low level survivor play, but halfway decent survivors can punish their lack of lethality. Point blank- I play them a decent amount because I like them. Dont worry about the kills. If you are worried about kills, you should find a killer that is stronger in chase and has more lethality/pressure.

I was kinda of saying it in a playful way. I think legion is fun, but I dont expect the same result if I play them for 20 games, that I would if I played Nurse, blight, spirit, huntress, or someone I was strong with.

Don't chase people in frenzy if they have just entered your terror radius. You won't get close enough in time to hit them with frenzy.

Use frenzy to keep location on survivors. This means sometimes use frenzy on an injured survivor just to locate the others.

Get good at judging how far away someone is with killer instinct. There's no point in frenzy sprint when they are to far away to hit them. Use frenzy to locate them, then walk closer, then frenzy again to hit them.

Don't frenzy swing at walking survivors. There's a huge chance they have sprint burst and will cause you to whiff and end your frenzy.

Good teams will remain spread out as much as possible, which considerably cuts down how useful you power is. There's not much you can do about this other than making your fewer frenzied count as much as possible and get good at m1 chasing.

Be mindful of lockers during frenzy. Cheeky survivors are good at predicting when you'll lunge and will fast enter a locker to make you whiff. Be a bjt patient and instead of whiffing you can pull them out instead.

BBQ, Blood Echo, Bamboozle and Ruin or Corrupt. And the addons i use are the ones that increase feral frenzy duration and the ones that reduce the fatigue after feral frenzy ends.

Legion is my pick when i just want a fun match and loots of BP. Have fun stabbing people 🤟

If person is going to unhook someone hit with frenzy to interrupt and hit second time to interrupt again. After second hit you'll get fatigue and person with 50% chance will start mending instead of unhooking since they share one button

As it's kinda related I just heard killer instinct doesn't proc in frenzy if the survivor is oblivious, is this intended?

Bingo. Legion is the only killer that can't down survivors with their power. Adding insult to injury is the painful treatment you get for missing an attack. Not only do you lose your entire power bar, but you endure a stun on par with DS.

Playing Legion can be fun, but it's also painful.

This is excellent advice! It really helps to get these specific types of tips, and I'm very grateful.

I do not agree about corrupt and bamboozle at all. Also no words about thana

Must admit, I am loving Lethal Pursuer on Legion right now...the ability to know exactly where survivors are at the start of the match really helps a lot, as I know what direction to run in to get as many injured as possible. I'm a big fan of information perks as that's what works with my playstyle.

I've started to use less location perks, just because I've begun to kind of work out where survivors are spawning most of the time, and the rest of the time I'm usually in a chase.

I have a friend who exclusively plays Traffic Cone Head, and he uses three different location perks, and only one perk that isn't. I just feel like that can take away from a build.
