Please note: Although we may stop by occasionally, this is not a developer Q&A.
We have temporarily disabled Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater Cosmetic (all queues) due to issues affecting gameplay.

What's up with report? expectations for the revamp?

Hello all and y'all!

The question is quite simple. Do you think the new revamped report system will be a nice thing to come to DbD? And in what kind of form will it take?

Personally I hope the report system will NOT be something you only need to spam and get someone's account timed'out. I see it as a time penality or some kind of low-priority queue if you will. We all hate long queue time right? Then I'd think it's only fair that hateful people get some longer queue.

And can we get a proper idea of what ''Unsportsmanlike Behavior'' is? I get a lot of hatred and very VERY aggressive comments after my games from survivors who managed to all live. How come this toxicity and why is it so normal? I will just add the screenshot i got after coming back to the lobby expecting to exchange a nice little ''ggwp'' after a very hard match on cowshed (Nurse dailies are my nightmare)

Let's get those entitled survivors and killers their own queue where the toxic people can play with each other is what i'm saying. Oh and make the ''give props'' button some meaning. Some survivors and killers out there are pure gold and it goes unnoticed

I hope you have fun in the fog!

I've deleted the screenshot as that would fall under naming & shaming.

With regards to what is considered to be reportable behaviour please refer to the game rules where this is listed: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

A certain level of trash talk is pretty much always going to happen in PvP games and this is not reportable - nothing that was written in your screenshot for example is reportable.
