Is the legion's FF detection completely tied to terror radius?
If I was to make a survivor oblivious, or myself undetectable, would that make me unable to detect heartbeats at all? Or would I still be able to see them in a 32m radius?

Survivor oblivious just means that they can't hear the radius but it's still there, but if you were to go undetectable then yes you wouldn't be able to see any killer instinct.

I erased my orginal comment. I somehow misread your post, I apologize.
But, if you make a survivor oblivious and you hit a survivor for killer instinct detection it will still work. Undetectable is the one you have to worry about it

If a survivor is Oblivious he is not considered to be in the killer's Terror Radius for the purpose of power and perks effects.
If the killer is under the effect of Undetectable, he does not have a Terror Radius.
The Legion's Killer Instinct is tied to their Terror Radius.
So Yes. You cannot detect survivors with your Killer Instinct if you are undetectable or the survivor is oblivious.

Damn, was gonna go for a stealthy legion. Thanks guys.

Yes and no.
Yes normally oblivious and undetectable remove the ability for killer instinct to activate. (Note ToT doesn't care about this so if you want stealthy Legion this works pretty well)
The addons that increase the detection range work outside of terror radius though so you would see survivors even without a terror radius.
I don't have the exact numbers and the wiki doesn't show them on mobile but that's one way to make a sneaky Legion work

Well, I'll try anyway, anyone know a list of killer stealth perks?

No, it isn't. The base detection range is whatever your current TR is + any Killer Instinct add-ons (they increase FF detection range without increasing your TR). The survivors don't have to hear your TR in order for FF to reveal them, so if they're Oblivious they're still highlighted by Killer Instinct. However, if you are Undetectable then you don't have a TR and so Killer Instinct won't reveal anyone.

Trail of Torment works pretty well seeing how it goes after a hit anyway so it won't affect your FF
Dark devotion also works really well seeing how you just hit someome with a basic attack and FF is recharging anyway. You also have control when it happens.
Tinkerer is awkward cause you can't control when it happens but chances are you're going to want to go to the triggered gen anyway. I personally would not run tinkerer without atleast one of the detection increase addons.
Hysteria works really well if at least one survivor is healing but with it triggering so often i wouldn't run it without detection increase addons.
Insidious is not worth it. You're not sneaking up on anyone while standing still and the loud grunt Legion does when ending FF makes even fake running away not work.
Other perks activate a bit to much outside of your control or don't affect enough people to be worth it

Hysteria is actually awesome for this build since it makes them oblivious and I belioeve FF isn't "affected by terror radius" but rather just inside where it is.

Yeah your FF detection works if they are oblivious
if You are undetectable i.e Tinkerer your FF detection will not work.
If you use Dark Devotion it will detect enemys around your Obsession.
Hysteria and Deathbound are mvps on legion.

Have you tried this yourself and confirmed it works with oblivious? Just that I keep hearing conflicting info

Stealthy Legion actually does work pretty well. You just have to stick with stealth perks that are triggered by you as the Killer then don't activate them when you think you're going to need to Frenzy. Trail of Torment and Dark Devotion are good examples.

I tested this, Feral Frenzy's Killer Instinct is indeed tied to TR. If a survivor cannot hear the TR because they are Oblivious, then you will not gain Killer Instinct on that survivor.

Making yourself undetectable will screw you yes.
Not sure about oblivious but i imagine no, youd still be able to see them

Good to know

As far as I'm aware, if the Survivor is Oblivious or Legion is undetectable - you are not supposed to get killer instinct. Because Killer Instinct is tied to the TR and as these two status effects effectively remove that terror radius then KI doesn't proc.

If it's the case that mean Demo shouldn't detect survivors nears to active portals, right ?

His is based on distance to survivor, not the tr
2 -
Yes and no.
Yes. If you're in his TR, he can see you. If you're not, he can't.
Why no then? Legion has KI Detection add-ons that go past his TR. Meaning, if Legion is running Susie's Mixtape for 16m Detection and is Undetectable meaning 0m TR, he'll see you if you're within 16m.
What if the Survivor is Oblivious and within 16m? KI will still detect them. Without the add-ons, however, they'll be invisible.
