Does anybody think Cross progression for console to pc will ever happen?

I am so demotivated to play the game because I recently moved over to pc and have to re-buy and unlock all the character again, so I was wondering if there was anything released recently hinting at it coming to the game or even just what you think about it.

    The details with Switch - PC cross progression are still being ironed out, we've not confirmed if cross progression will happen on any other platform - it's something that's known to be a massive community wish so it's something we will continue to work on.

    lol not a chance in hell, i mean console optimization still hasn't happened and that was promised years ago....
