If its not fnaf im uninstalling

It's posts like these that make us look bad, even if it's just a joke.

Thank you, that is a very good explanation and probably what the should have done in the beggining if they presumed I was not aware of the meaning. You could say chucky is campy, that would even make sense and people still want him. And what about the original Freddy Krueger? Boy was he campy, good thing we've got a remake one, community was so happy about it. But anyway - thank you for being non-toxic and reasonable.

That's a little over the top to uninstall because a certain character isn't in the game. Plus there's no chance because the copyright is still in the air.
1 -
Agreed with all that 👍 👏

“Springtrap is so likely to break a year-old trend of bland, uninspired killers that barely fit into dbd at all” are you serious? We got two of the most iconic horror gaming franchises added into dbd within the last year.
3 -
Blank statement. Pyramid head is last year, and nemesis fits precisely into my definition. RE chapter reeks of being added becouse it's big franchise and not something devs wanted in the game themselves. They didn't choose a character who has potential for fun power to be in dbd, just went with boring and predictable nemesis for cheap hype. Deprived 3 killers of their own maps to make that RPD atrocity, again for cheap hype. Well, that hype is gone, and now we have a killer from resident evil, an iconic horror franchise, who people barely use becouse of how utterly unenjoyable he is. The few times I actually see nemesis they're using anniversary cake, probably the only reason people still play him. Oh, and there are a few fist-punching fanatics that make themselves be known I guess.
Should I be happy about wasted potential, in your opinion? Allow me to be not

nah i dont see it, what im saying is coming off of PH and silent hill is a pretty massive high. Blight is a fan favorite. twins and trickster suck but are not bland or uninspired, they are actually unique and i applaud the team for consistently adding to the roster. Then theres no denying the legacy of RE that translates to Nemesis as well. Which added a completely brand new concept into the game with the ai zombies. Bland and uninspired is not what this last year was. Lazy is what it was more like, but they were also updating the game and rebalancing it. Mixed bag but i think you are kind of being hyperbolic
2 -
also i like rpd, i think people have ######### tastes
1 -
A respectable take, with me being hyperbolic being quite likely. But again, I see a lot of blank statements here that are supposed to support some strong opinions like "Nemesis is a great addition to dbd and is not boring or bland at all becouse ai zombies, and ai never been in the game before". I wrote a post regarding all that at the beggining of page 2, not going into much detail there but at least read it if you plan to challenge my opinions. Regarding R.P.D., people hate it becouse this map manages to combine every aspect that makes a dbd map a bad dbd map into one giant mess. And that's pretty objective, unlike saying map is good and people are just dumb for not liking it.

They also posted a picture of the perk red herring, so I'm taking their recent posts with a pitcher of salt.

Imagine this but it's dbd. I don't think fnaf fits in dbd. It's clearly marketed for kids. I get enough salt at the end of matches. Don't need the 10 year old warriors in chat as well.
I get the appeal of the story. If Fnaf comes in then it will attract kids as well. Game is not made for kids.

Wooow there, chief. Rolling in with an original and totally-not-debunked-before opinion of fnaf being childish, even using some crappy fan-made image that has no relation to actual games to prove his point. Very strong.
You're a bit late though - despite heavily hinting fnaf in a clever and non-obvious way, they just rolled out an image with a literal pinhead needle on it. A weaker license of course, but we'll have what we'll be having. Happy for people who enjoy that character, thread closed!

You might as well uninstall, it's not FNAF.
3 -
How to keep à.story going when you reached an end and deztroyed the evil?
Make him à Virus, its better instead of bringing in some fresh blood
1 -
If i recall apparently some dumbasses took Springtrap's chip (from the remains of him), which basically its all the programming (aka consciousness) and attempted to make a videogame with it, largely to cover up all the mess of the company (the previous games) by recreating the events of past games and make them out to be pure nonsense rather than real events to clean their names.
But as seen the chip had Afton's soul and now took form has a virus inside said game and ended up brainwashing one of the testers (the character you play as) and turned her into his follower who is know has Vanny, which wears a white bunny costume and is now set on continuing his legacy as a murderer.
Btw this reminds me on how the hell the third game even happened, Springtrap was retrieved between the first and second night, like did none of those idiots noticed that he has a freaking corpse inside him? i feel the smell would have been a dead giveaway, and that a lot of the flesh is visible form the outside.
1 -
Hahah "dead giveaway" hahah!
16 -
Well you might as well uninstall because it's gonna be hellraiser
11 -
That both bums me out and excites me.
2 -
Welp...
10 -
You wanted Springtrap, he came.
14 -
Don't worry, Pinhead will help you enjoy your suffering.
20 -
You can uninstall now.
18 -
Hold up your end and uninstall.
17 -
Welp
18 -
Wow just wow
Shame that people think like this
Both the op and the haters
1. Claiming your gonna uninstall if it's not your character is childish
2. Pokeing at someone when they are disappointed is also childish
Maybe the dbd community is for kids :)

3 -
I agree. If it was springtrap, they wouldn't like it either if people were shitting on people for thinking it was pinhead. Just goes to show what a selfish, malevolent community this is.
4 -
🙃🙃🙃
22 -
He literally said he would uninstall. People were just saying he can uninstall now because its not fnaf.
16 -
Just the idea of adding fnaf to Dbd makes me cringe, I'm really glad they didn't add Springtrap and instead added a real horror icon.
9 -
I was a teen when I first was enjoying dbd, I am now much older and still enjoy the idea and lore to FNAF and would probably buy some of the child marketed products (even though I do not really keep up with all the new stuff for the game series). Just my opinion
1 -
To be fair, NONE of the Halloween movies are marketed towards kids. Maybe older teens, but not 12 and under.
6 -
Have you uninstalled yet?
5 -
Why are people trying to gatekeep what can and can’t be done in DBD
grow up
4 -
Halloween came out in 1978. Things were different then and subsequent movies have not been rated PG-13.
Kids care about whatever their favorite influencer is playing.
1 -
Well, see you later then.
2 -
Bye, lol. All the clues pointed toward Pinhead, but all the FNAF fans refused to consider anything but Springtrap. Even the final clues which all but confirmed it was Pinhead were twisted to fit what the FNAF fans wanted.
4 -
All the traps also fit perfectly and more accurately with Hellraiser, and the bunny on the rock wasn't even a bunny, it was a regular crow. Anyways if you took the hints one way and get disappointed when the hints LITERALLY spelled Hellraise, then see ya lmao
1 -
Lmao this aged well.
3 -
anytime
4 -
Still waiting for the uninstall as confirmed tho
3 -
True, but they aren't actual children. Most adults can reason for themselves and can take someone saying "I don't think this will work" without spamming 1000 threads about the topic and attacking anyone who dares to disagree.
FNAF isn't even that good either, it's a flash in the pan sort of game, like Slender.
6 -
Use the search feature. The FNAF spam is on another level. I found out that in the last week, it actually had more comments than NOED in the last month. It's not comparable to anything and genuinely just feels like an invasive ad campaign.
2 -
"Can we please stop talking about FNAF"
The people who want to stop talking about FNAF:
4 -
I've never even heard of FNAF or whatever, but I'm definitely actually pretty excited about Hellraiser, and plan to purchase the DLC, his animations and power looks fun!
1 -
There's literally more spam and vitriol from them than there is about NOED.
The original game wasn't designed for kids, but the others were. Less horror, more lore.
I really wouldn't have minded it, but now I want it to stay out of DBD just for spite.
6 -
Don't uninstall yet, the PTB showing Hellraiser might just be another distraction and it's still gonna be SpringTrap. Keep your dream alive!
4 -
Are you uninstalling yet?
2 -
I really just love everyone saying "Keep the FNAF kids away, they're so toxic!" and acting like DBD isn't already extremely toxic. In fact every online game where you compete against other people is toxic. If anything I expect FNAF players to be less toxic because they aren't killing other people, or tea-bagging and macro-spamming your flashlight to the killer at the exit gate.
I have never played a single FNAF game, but I am very interested in the lore and story behind it, and I think Springtrap would be a cool killer, plus he would be something we haven't seen before (an animatronic).
Let's not gatekeep DBD and act like we are somehow 'above' people who enjoy FNAF. It's very petty and pathetic, and the recent teasers from the devs have brought out the worst in both our community and the FNAF fans. I'm very excited for Pinhead as he looks awesome and fun, but I would be equally as excited if it were Springtrap.
