Now with better teammates, the amount of good solo & swf far outnumber equivalent killers. Expect to see survivors paired down and killers always paired up.

Give it time?

if you play ranked in a competetive game like Counter strike, Rainbow 6 siege or League of Legends do you play immideately with same skilled people? not really.
you first play your 10 matches so the system finds out after 10 matches what your MMR score is and then it puts you with same skilled people.
before leaving i would first play atleast 5-10 matches to see if its really working or not then you can leave and give a negative feedback if its still not working.

That sounds like it should be reversed depending on queue times for a better player experience, whichever side has more players should be paired up higher rather than lower to incentivize playing the opposing side with faster queue times and easier matches rather than fast queue times and hard matches since that is just a positive feedback loop in the making

Then they have to adjust the balancing if there are far more (more than 4 to 1) good survivors compared to killers.

I agree, but que time management is also a key focus of the system. The better a team does the less likely the system is to find a proper match before que time becomes an overriding issue.
We have high skilled killers, I just don't think we have enough for the new number of efficient teams this system will create.

Isn't the SBMM officially like...half an hour old?

Initially people's SBMM score might well be higher (or lower) than it should be and playing matches will naturally adjust that - you lose your SBMM score drops and if you win, it will increase.
That's because despite data being collected in the background, it's not been used for matchmaking and as we're all aware the previous matchmaking wasn't a testament to skill alone.
Please don't go by the Grades shown in the end screen, because these are mostly down to time invested in the game.

chill, you lost 1 match. play some more maybe it`ll put you at the "right" spot.

Presumably at rank... 14, you were stomping every group of survivors you came across via ranked based matchmaking. Thus you ended up with a high MMR for Wraith.
Give it a few matches and you'll be where you ought to be.

You are playing Wraith, which is basically a guaranteed 4k on the previous matchmaking system. Your ranking has probably been artificially inflated because of that and now your playing against survivors that actually know how to counter Wraith, which you've never experienced before.
Play 30 games with Wraith, ignore the first 10, write down the kills vs escapes and I bet it will be around 50/50.

I have been on a hiatus from dbd for a couple months on the killer side and after 3 games of this new system I am whole heartedly with you. And to the people that say "Tough it out", no. I am here to play a game and have fun... not sit in a lobby for 10 mins and match against a group of survivors where I get my ass absolutely handed to me and only get one hook... I played 3 games of this new system and collectively only got 5 hooks... after waiting 8-10 mins per game to find a match where I get absolutely obliterated and waste addons, my temper, and my time.
A game is suppose to be fun and if I am not having fun, I'm not going to play it as it is right now. And I am not having fun playing against people that are WAAAAY beyond my level just so I can play however many games until the system puts me against survivors in my skill level only to have the same thing happen when I play a new killer. Honestly I'd be better to run the game in the back ground and do literally anything else with no addons and just afk, so I can get these ######### games out of my way. I'm sure survivors would love that!

24k BPs does not really look like you were stomped.

When I look at the bloodpoints I am asking me why the killer has so many of them (24,5k from 32k possible). Looks like he got many hooks in the game (maybe 8/12) and each surv would be dead on hook next time. In my opinion only with this endscreen you can't say if the sbmm is so broken.
Playing more games in this new system maybe should help to get better results. And only because the system doesn't work for some games you should not give up so early (maybe filling up the lobby with others than the sbmm-expected because of too long waiting time, could be a reason for this result).
Also I am asking me how many players are really happy with this new system. You won't found much of them in here, because most people in this forum are sad or angry because the game doesn't work the way they want it.

Exactly what I mean. 24k BPs looks like OP did a good game, it is not like he got steamrolled by the Survivors. It is a 0K, but it does not look like a bad game.
But this is the DBD-Forum for you - something happens ONCE and then a Thread needs to be created.
Most people will probably have fine matches with SBMM.
3 -
You got a lot of points which implies you weren't completely helpless.
MMR doesn't mean 2k every match, there'll be 0ks and 4ks just hopefully less games where one side gets annihilated without a chance, which doesn't look like it's the case here.
1 -
You did 24k event at 0 kills. Doesn't seem that bad, especially with your build. You'll probably lose MMR and have a better chance in the future.

Impatient much? It hasn't even been a day. Good grief.
