Why is the game so unbalanced??Can you optimize the game experience?
Why is the game so unbalanced?
Once in the game survivor side is reduced , the balance between the two sides is immediately broken and the survivor side of the game is reduced to a freezing point.
The butcher's abilities barely change with game time, while the survivor's side decreases rapidly as people are executed. This is exacerbated by some incomprehensible butcher skills (Hex: no one escape death), where after 2 people are lost on the survivor side, repairing the remaining generators becomes impossible, and the game immediately becomes a competition between two survivors to see who can escape through the tunnels.
The essence of this game should be the repeatedly pull & chase between survivor and the butcher in the process of repairing the generator , but the planners obviously do the opposite, they design butcher skills compressed pulling space everywhere, which the fragile balance on the fire.
Compared to the novice survivors, the differentiation of the ranking level to the butcher is pathetic. The butchers encountered by novice survivors are polarized. Either they simply do not know how to hunt down the survivors, or a generator has not yet been repaired by the butcher to hang 2 survivors, the rest of the game experience becomes #########.
At the same time, the game has no punishment for butchers who love to guard corpses, and butchers often use novice survivalists as breakthroughs when they find them in the game, which makes the game experience even harder for novice survivalists who don't know why they're being targeted.
The game has been out for years, but the team has done nothing for balance. Why do I see survivor skills in the game that last a whole number like 30/90/60? Have you done even the slightest bit of brain balancing? Survivor skill choices are focused on a few high imba skills, the rest of the skills are left with no one choose and the same old butcher and the same old survivor fill up the entire ranking ladder of the game.
This is a good game, I just hope the game planning team can personally play a single ranking to play.

Its hard to understand your post. Is the game killer or survivorsided in your opinion?

You are not making any sense.

Interesting read.....To say the least.

Reminds me of this

I hope the balance team will consider nerfing the killer after 1-2 survivor deaths, otherwise the killer is too strong in this situation.
Remove skills like (Hex: no one escape death) to add more gaming space for killers and survivors.
Please protect the game experience of newcomers!
Newcomers, both survivors and killers, have no prep experience at all when they encounter high level opponents.

Wait .. so you want the killer to get punished for playing well.
I wouldn't hold my breath...

I wouldn't hold my breath too , how do you consider this as "playing well" ?? ,I just example a situation that happened a lot .

The example you gave is the Killer doing their job.
They are supposed to kill Survivors, why would they be punished for doing what they are supposed to be doing?
3 -
Not saying I agree with OP, but in a sense, that kind of gameplay is already there. Conceptually, survivors get punished by being good in chases with Bloodlust.
1 -
They CAN be.
That's not the intention of Bloodlust though. Bloodlust is there to circumvent poor map/loop design.
This system would be implemented purely to punish the Killer for killing people

Do u need a press to win button? Just in case killer is too strong....

There are a total of 27 survivor characters available in the game, each of which adds 3 optional survivor skills to the blood web. So theoretically there are 27 X 3 = 81 skills, plus some survivor skills that appear on all characters' blood web.
Guess which of these skills the survivors you meet in matches will choose?
In the ranked matches all the survivor choices are focused on a few skills , (Borrowed Time, Irron will, Dead Hard, The Cat, Self-Care), and that's it, the rest survivor skills are designed to look like the fourth pointer on a clock.
The balance made with my toes would be better than this.

Iron will is bit better than mediocre perk cause once u hit survivor u can track him by blood and scrath marks, Spine Chills isn't even top tier perk. Yes, it's good but nothing special, Self-Care is garbage perk. Meds are twice better than Self-Care. It takes u about 40 sec to heal your self and it's half a gen, while meds are about 16sec.
Anything else?

Your response perfectly proves my point ,
The popular survivalist skills you can recite backwards. Cold skills you know nothing about.
What an exquisite game balance design!

FRESH MEAT!!!!!!
In all honesty though can we get The Butcher as a killer.
0 -
That's impossible as some trolls come to all those threads to just do sarcasm and then if the OP is defending himself you come on the thread and lock it naming and shaming the OP :).
Really fair approach.

Anyway, do you remember this time ? When survivors still called killers OP or the game balanced ?
A few years later, nothing has changed, i mean in the community mindset, even the end chat is the same lol.

That would be nice. Even though, i doubt that Blizzard would allow this.

Truetalent playing high MMR killer atm.
You guys should have a look about the game's balance.
4 gens done, 1 hook only, about to get the 2nd hook. This SBMM is a joke balance wise.
He cannot do anything, it's like Euro Disney for the survivors lol.
So now put this in perspective, a player, killer main, doing this for a living with 10k hours as a killer can't win at high MMR. What does it mean to you ?
1 -
One of the best killer main in the game, with a tier S killer, loosing at high MMR, 2 hooks only. PGJSF.

5 hooks, 5 gens. Forced to tunnel to get a kill and to proxy camp to get the 2nd. :)

I doubt there will ever be any real balance. I'm not a try-hard and have only a casual player's mindset so I couldn't even start the day without getting Mori'd in my first match and found first in my second match. Plus I'm not clear on the rules behind the frickin' quit penalty timer so the first time I got too frustrated to stick around because things were going too wrong over and over, I automatically get hit with the 30min??? Does that trash last all week? Cuz it sure as Hell doesn't reset when you get your new daily rituals...

Good joke that was funny.

Well he is in the top 1%, if you think otherwise, i don't understand :).

How do you know he is in the top 1%. Based off his work. Plus doesn't that go against what he says about how you should form your own opinions. Please show me where it says he is because I don't think he is.

Please show me where it says is in the top 1%. With the way he plays it doesn't really seem like it. If you can show me then I will retract what I said earlier.

Well since you think you are so good and above him that you can state that he is a bad killer :)...
Funny enough, no one knows you anywhere, too bad 🤷♀️

Ok... so you can't gotcha. No I am not claiming to be this amazing top teir killer player in am just saying that by the way he plays it is most certainly not in the top 1%. While he is above average he is not nearly as good as many make him out to be.

Don't bother responding to people that have a single line of thinking. It just frustrates you and fuels them. They reach for things and flail around an argument because they are petty. Even if True was a god tier killer main, people are aloud to have bad games. One or two games don't prove anything.
Also, have a lovely day.

Pwrsonaly i don't get frustrated by them. It is more so a source of enjoyment for me watching them get so flustered over an opinion that I hold.

He isnt. He plays the game well but not really really well. Maybe like top 5-10% at best
0 -
Well, even if he is top 10%, he is loosing all his trials at high MMR.

By the same logic, the killers is penalised for being good by the survivor getting a speed boost when they get hit.
