So the highest average win %...
Now I cant remember the stats exactly, I think the highest was about 55-58% so basically most games is a 2k
Now the issue I have with these stats is once again not showing the ranking bracket (low, mid and high mmr).
Yes I know MMR is a pile of garbage and has no skill within it but its still be nice to know. Once again going off kills is a terrible idea both for balance and mmr.
Next time show a hook counter (individual hooks) so we can get more better data.
Do people think this % is too low or high?
Personally to low, 55% is far too low. While it's hard to tell because kills mean nothing of what happened I'd still think 60-65% is more reasonable.

It was across the board. So, Leatherface probably had closer to a 100% kill rate at low mmr and Nurse probably had closer to a 0% kill rate at low mmr. But who knows? That is just speculation on my part.

I really hope they have more data on how some kills happen. Cause seeing pinhead on top of that list while knowing how many people simply DON'T OPEN THE GODDAMN BOX and then complain about the chains....
10 -
Pin was still 55 roughly like all the others, just picked more as he was the newest chapter added to the game. Usually how the stats go with a new release
1 -
On average games are 2k which seems like good balance
3 -
Also
They count DCs. And Pinhead had a DC bug.
7 -
The stats don't seem to track MMR though. It says it's only from July up to September and MMR was active by Sept 8th.

Just look how high Freddy is on the list right now.
That guy is not bad, not good and as funny to play as watching paint dry. His "anti-loop" is meh, his map mobility is okay and his add ons are a joke. Still the second highest winrate...
My guess is that at lower MMR more people play the game. As such Killers who thrive of easy mechanics will perform quit good there. Freddy is easy as hell and offers a good return with his mobility. Same for Bubba who is not rocket science either but has a strong power that newer players often fall victim to, because they do not know his counter.
Now Pinhead could be as high as he is right now because all players are "newer players" right now. Survivors just do not know the best tactic to counter him, when and where to solve his box and so on. I had people with more than 1.000 hours into the game who got grabbed by me as a Pinhead because they panick vaulted a pallet after I chained them (they were on the other side and vaulted in my direction).
The funny note it that the devs themself admited that those numbers mean nothing and that everybody using them to justify anything will just make a fool out of themself.

Kills mean nothing though, kills can be 2-10hooks. That's quite drastically different...

Honestly i think this show that the survivor are the power role. But its not like those stats are any good

Can we stop drawing conclusions from flawed stats you've been told not to draw conclusions from I'm actually begging at this point
4 -
You dont have to be part of the discussion. It's that simple, people are allowed to Express and discuss things. I stated what stats I'd like to see and I asked the community how they felt about the %.
"So I'm begging" dont comment on a discussion if you dont wish to actually join in, if you do say what sorta % youd like to see.
5 -
So long as people continue to try and interpret these stats which are intrinsically flawed I will continue going to these discussions and tell them to stop while they're ahead before they make themselves look any dumber :)
2 -
Those numbers don't tell us a whole lot without context. Before/after SBMM, sorted by MMR bracket would be more informative.
2 -
No, DC's were not included in those statistics.
9 -
yeah that is really annoying but it not more annoying when chain are still at attacking you while you're opening the box.
1 -
I knew it. I remember them saying on last year's stats that they never include matches with dc's.

Kills are possibly the worst way to gauge balance in this game.
Nurse was at a 42% kill rate. Does ANYONE on this planet that plays this game think Nurse is the worst killer in the game?
Legion had an above average kill rate. Does ANYONE on this planet that plays this game think Legion is an above average killer?
I don't think BHVR intentionally misuses statistics. I think they 100% have no idea how to properly use them. They need to compile more than just "kills" and make it public. At the BARE MINIMUM, there should be. Kills across every 100 points of mmr. from 1100 to 1900. Hooks across 100 points of MMR. Killer pick rate at every 100 points of mmr. Kills at every 100 points of mmr. Hatch escapes at every 100 points of mmr. Generators completed at every 100 points of mmr. Here's an important one. Time in game across every 100 points in mmr.
To any decent dev or statistician trying to make sense of data to make the game better these are MANDATORY. I'd be amazed if BHVR even kept track of half of those at any mmr.

Since nobody posted the stats image I will:

Pig at 57%....yeah I call bull ######### on these stats.
0 -
Pig's power can easily get her free kills if a pig plays scummy enough or brings the right addons and map offering. Part of the reason Pig is so bad is because of how potentially game changing her power can be.
Imagine if Myers had a tomestone addon basekit. His kill rate would be very high as well even if he was a bad killer.
1 -
@Crowman True. Pig can do this with the right set up TT+Crate and just camp the boxes....but where is the fun in that? Must be a lot of Pig players that play like that to get the % up.
0 -
Low rank Pigs/Bubbas do a lot of the camping, mid rank it mostly switches to Doctor and gimmick killers like Trickster doing the camping, high rank seems to depend more on time of day for whether people are meming or murdering.
Makes my Piggy heart sink when I see young Pig players shooting themselves in the foot.

Nurse is last because there's not enough good Nurses 3/4k to outweigh all the bad Nurses 0k.
All other killers can at least hold w and M1 survivors to death. So even new players will contribute to the kill count.
As far as the stats go, these are raw numbers without context. Doesn't mean you can just throw them out because they don't match ones world view.
Pinhead being at the top is expected. New killers get played more than others. Survivors don't know the best way to run him yet. Its still valid to see that even low end killers can easily get kills with him over other killers they play.
Its all taking it with a grain of salt. Lots of salt actually.

I guess that explains why spirit is not number one lol.

Average means nothing without median and standard deviation, just saying...
If the average kill is 2 with a deviation of 2, it's totally unbalanced as it means that many many games end up with 4k and as many with 0k.
A balanced game would be 2k with a deviation of 0,1 or something small like this or at least 1 and that would mean that the big majority of trials end up with 1 to 3k with a division as the gaussian function.
Also, average hooks gained with the deviation would be a good stat to get, and it should be around 8 average with a deviation of 2 to get a perfectly balanced game.

They have not counted Dc's for the past 3 years
They really need to put a disclaimer on every new statistic
