False Ban After Flashlight Glitch

My best friend had their flashlight glitch out during a match recently, where the flashlight had power infinitely. While they recognized that this happened, they tested it against a wall (not the killer) to see if their suspicion was correct. Worth noting, they suspected another player in their lobby was hacking at the time.

The next day they logged in to their account banned. They've reached out to appeal it with no response. Is there anything else they can do? I'd bet my own account that they didn't cheat, and it's frustrating having bought them multiple DLCs and now they can't play due to a false ban.
