Can we get answers on cross progression
Can we finally just get answers on cross progression for console? right now all we’ve been told is no guarantee, that doesn’t help at all.
if you’d were unable to get cross progression cant yous just say no so we don’t get our hopes up?
i have both an xbox and steam account and want to move to pc but i really don’t wanna start again. it would be really nice to know for certain so i can either just start fresh or continue playing both.

The current answer is no. They can’t promise if it ever comes.
but they obviously can’t rule it out yet, because they are still trying to get it for all platforms (except mobile).

Its simple, sony wont allow it as then BHVR would have to pay them money if the turned it on. go look at other games. Sony demands payment if they allow this as they claim theyr loose money if you buy from a different platform instead of the PSN store.

There is no yes/no answer I'm afraid.
The most I can say is that it's something that's known to be desired by the Community but we cannot say if or when it will ever happen.

If negotiations with the platform owners are still on-going they can’t say no or yes since they didn’t come to a conclusion and don’t want to get in legal trouble about confirming/deconfirming something that might not/still come. Just as an example.

if the negotiations turn out that it’s a guaranteed no to cross progression will it be publicly announced/confirmed that it’s never coming?
im really just lost on what i should do. 4500 hours on a maxed out p3l50 account is a lot to just throw away

Yeah, it's most likely on Sony, they are VERY stingy with their stuff.
Like, FFS, Marvel's Avenger's couldn't release Spider Man (a FREE DLC) on the PC or XBOX versions of the game because Sony wouldn't allow it
No, most likely Microsoft would allow it (or at least they would allow it for sure between XBOX and Microsoft Store), but if BHVR were to implement cross progression only between XBOX and Steam it would be clear that Sony is the cause of the delays, throwing shade on them, which could lead to a tense relationship with them

those things can always change in the future though. How would you determine a guaranteed no, when in two years they could always make new negotiations and then find a common ground?
the current statement is no. It’s not confirmed to come at all. You shouldn’t plan/wait for it now. We already have cross Progression for Steam, Stadia and Epic, with Switch confirmed to be getting it but having legal issues and no ETA. It’s been a pretty long time since cross progression has been announced and since there is no answer from Sony and Microsoft yet you shouldn’t count on it.

Its simple, if MS BHVR allows it to all but PS4/5 then how you think that will look? MS has already said they want it. So wonder why its held up?
You only need to look at the epic vs apple battle to see how bad sony is for a console dev.

MS has confirmed it? Do you have a source on this? (Not because I don’t believe it, but I am not that much invested with MS but still Interested in this kinda stuff especially if it is DbD related…)

Since the game it was put on gamepass, the said its donw to BHVR AKA down to sony. Its clear sony are ones holding it up same as apex
