Just Submitted My Ticket For Bubba Compensation Shards
Good to know that after delaying this for over a day because they had to manually make a list (still unsure why they waited until the release to do so) they still managed to mess it up. Of course, the problem with buying the Rift gets a message at the top and immediate fix as it involves people paying them, whereas this is just some shards that they had to grit their teeth and give away (not even enough to buy any given four headpieces itself, of course).
Hopefully this doesn't end up like Hawkins compensation - completely messed up and then swept under the rug...

Submitted my ticket as well. This is so unprofessional, the fact that some people get it earlier with no problems and us having to do this smh.

Shameful that they didn't have this 100% prepared for the rollout. They've known for how long that they were removing the masks? I can understand if it was a freebie, where people didn't pay rl money for something, but a paid Killer that is losing part of his uniqueness and one of the most iconic moments in the original movie... just screams of mismanagement and laziness.
That being said, patience is always key when working with BHVR. Anything that affects their revenue stream will be fixed immediately. Things that affect anything else become a "When we get to it" type of deal.

Didn't get any either and I'm not going to go make some support ticket because there's no reason I should be forced to go through support for compensation for something you removed from me, that didn't actually have to be removed, and I don't really need shards for anything. I'll just accept that I got my cosmetics taken and got nothing for it. Sucks since I actually grinded for them years back, rather than the "just play Bubba once ever" requirement they gave. Maybe don't take the cosmetics away if you can't do it right.
I didn't care about the masks, but if you can't do it right then just don't remove them.

If you get a reply along the lines of "No everyone that was meant to get shards did" don't be shocked; ping Mandy and ask to DM your Cloud ID, she's trying to follow everything up and let the teams know.
Some proof you've played Bubba before, which not necessary, could be helpful.

Terrible take
If you're told everyone is being given £50 and then suddenly a lot of people around you have gotten it but you haven't, you should be understandably upset at the inequality and demand you get your £50 too, especially since you were also promised it.

If that makes you feel better, I haven't received my shards either.
That said, the process couldn't be prepared before the removal of the masks, that's why they waited for the patch, I'm sure they will solve the issue for those who still haven't received their compensation.

Should we still contact Mandy and give our cloud id? Me and my partner didn’t get them either, but I thought she already got plenty and the team is investigating the issue generally?

It seems they are actively trying to do everything to antagonize the community. At first they remove the masks with no adequate reason. Then they decide to compensate with 6k shards for 4 masks (look in the store how much a single head cosmetic is). THEN they are unable to do it instantly, and tell you to wait 24 hours, as some kind of real life state bureaucracy, and THEN then fail to do that! Is the company getting dissolved and shutdown or what?

Yes, 7200 per face would have been appropriate. Although at this point, I would be satisfied with just the 6000 that Mrs JawsIsTheNextKiller got for playing once in her life and DCing 60 seconds into the game when she ran into a wall 4 years ago.

Then they decide to compensate with 6k shards for 4 masks (look in the store how much a single head cosmetic is).
As far as I remember, those 4 masks were actually completely free. There are also other free cosmetics only obtained by playtime (see free part of the rift for example

thats also understandable, as they actually needed to track the people until the very moment of the update.

Yeah 4 common masks with a value of 900 shards each so we got 2400 shards for free (900*4=3600)
