"Reducing grind"
Devs claim that they're reducing the grind by 75%. Okay, now please tell us,
how the hell are we supposed to prestige ALL CHARACTERS to level 100?
Comments

why would you need to prestige them to level 100?
11 -
That's the neat part, you don't
3 -
why are people saying prestige to 100? is that real?
if so BHVR is beyond repair

There's no reward for getting to 100. Rewards end at 9.

'The Grind' is time investment required to unlock perks at prestige 3, it is THAT which has been reduced.
They have done so with removing Prestige deletion of Items/perks/offerings/addons, Prestige 3 retroactively gives lvl 3 perks to all characters.

Because that's the new max? That's the new goal?
What will you do once you reach prestige 100 on one character? Ofc you'll go for another one. And then another... and it will take forever!

That's a goal you set for yourself lol, BHVR has nothing to do with that. They probably have to put a limit, and they purposely set it super high so very few players would reach it. Like for real that's like complaining there's too much cosmetics because you can't get them all... that's just not what's it for. If you want to get everyone to P100 that's your problem.

What's the purpose of the game other than playing it?
Maxing every character and getting all achievements.
How do you max every character now? P3 and all perks.
How do you max every character soon? P100 which will require WAY MORE GRINDING.

Grinding refers to having everything playable unlocked, it refers to new players not being able to get all the perks, it refers to people having to pick one survivor because there's no way they could get all the perks on all of them, it doesn't refer to you being a completionist and wanting everything maxed out. The grind is better because you can now have all the perks on every character without having 3k hours in the game. It's not worst because they've extended the prestige cap solely for bragging rights. If they max out the BP cap at 100 billion or something bc they need to put a number in but they don't want it to bother players anymore are you also going to complain about how that's worst? Like you're literally not making sense.
Grind = how much BP you need; not how much you can spend to max out everything.

This is about as arbitrary as reaching Devotion 100 or obtaining 999 of every item and add on.

The real rewards are at prestige levels 69 and 420

> The grind is better because you can now have all the perks on every character without having 3k hours in the game.
I have 3k hours and the amount of characters I have all perks on is 5 - first four and my EX main (all survs are P3 50 tho, and I didn't prestige any single killer), so there would be way more to go... but I get your point, and while I agree, this is completely not my point. It's purely about getting every single character to prestige 100 because that will be the new max now... and in order to achieve that you have to GRIND tons of points. I'm not even sure if it's doable...

You don't need to prestige them to level 100 to unlock their perks to others...

Having an optional purely cosmetic non gameplay affecting 'grind' is fine imo - giving people something to work towards and show dedication to certain characters isn't a bad thing. If your goal is to Prestige 100 a character (or multiple), then sure it's gonna take a monumental amount of time, but it doesn't affect your gameplay in the slightest, so I think that's fine - it's a personal goal at that point.

Wait. Isn't this this change excalty the opposite? The 75% reduction to grind only applies if you are aiming to have all perks on all charcters. If you want to unlock all perks to a single character the grind is actually increased since bloodpoint gains are gutted.

That sounds like a personal accomplishment problem, not an actual problem with acquiring the tools needed to play.

I think it's a 75% reduction to overall grind. The point is making it easier to get perks on everyone so that you don't have to dump bp in one character and then get stuck playing them because you only have perks on that character.
