The dredge is a dread.

Does anyone else think the dredge is really difficult to go against? I play on console and really enjoy the game but when the dredge was introduced I tried him out and immediately knew he was gonna be difficult for me. Im not great at the game but Im decent. Sometimes I can give a chase with Windows of opportunity and the right perk but looping ekkkk, I see videos and am so sad I cant be as good as some players 🥺 so needing all that help already only to then have to try and SEE in darkness almost makes it impossible for me sometimes. The only way I probably survive is because Every once and a while I have a pretty cool team that help out which is really nice

Thank you, The majority of people Ive seen talk about going against him have said he is easy to go up against you just have to know his tricks or something like that. Im thinking are we talking about the same killer? Thanks for the response 😊

I mean probably dredge is still "easy" as he is not a nurse or blight and technically loopable (or hold w able) like usual, (and probably more so from SWF pov) but there is certainly a lot of worse killers in roster so if we think from relative he is rather hard to deal with.

Not to mention the fact darkness would hurts less experienced players much more, his shadow and locker teleport would be a little confusing for a while too.

His anti Loop and map pressure is very good i Main and Love him but if u know how to bait hisanti loop he isnt that strong he is a solid B Tier Killer :)

I loop him the same way I do Nurse. Break LOS and be unpredictable because of his anti-looping skills. Though I do have WoO chronically in my perks, I just can't go without it anymore. But I reckon it's a bit harder to vs him without.

He is strong but he is not at Blight or Nurse level. Take that as you will.

I can see Nightfall being annoying. Love it thematically, but to new players this would be almost intolerable.

Not everyone has the maps memorized or running Windows of Opp.

I don't think he is really difficult, but he is strong. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being Best (Nurse), I would put him at a solid 8 maybe 8.5. I do really hate his nightfall. While I like the idea of killers having secondary effects, like Mr Baldy's chain hunt and Tentacle Daddy's Zombies, I hate anything that messes with my vision.

For me it’s all about how to play him, I love using make your choice, hooking a survivor then leaving a remnant out of sight just behind a wall. After the survivor unhooks and screams teleport back to the hook, only works once or twice tho usually.

Leaving a remnant needs to happen quickly and best done when there’s no los, like a wall, to be effective.

Good survivors still stomp him, he hasn't really been a threat for me so far.

I mean, he's strong sure, but he's not anywhere near nurses level, I'd put him in maybe like B+ tier or something

I find him especially challenging because I am obsessed with locking the lockers so I get snatched more than I really ought to. 😆

Knowing his tricks makes him more manageable but to be fair the same can be said about every killer. (One of the many reasons good players play both roles)

So yes, I believe versing him isn't a walk in the park.

Lmao me too. I feel somehow safe when I lock them when I know damn well its not gonna do Shiz and I probably shouldn’t be doing it right away. I mean locking them might give me what? Another half a second before I get knocked down. 😁😒

Not difficult to go against but it makes my eyes water from how dark it is. I'm glad I barely go against it.

I wouldn't say he has a strong anti-loop, not if survivors know even slightly how it works.

It's kinda like a heavily watered down version of Spirit's anti-loop, in a similar way that Freddie's is a weak AF version of Clown's anti-loop.

But if you know how to play around with locker teleports, using them frequently (faster nightfall) for both info and map traversal, then you can apply a lot of pressure with him.

Yea you are definitely right, every killer can have their challenges but I really don't find anyone who bothers me as much, even Nurse because I usually just move out of the way quick left or right, shes really not as annoying to me, yea she might get me but I usually think wow that person was really good just because it seems playing her can be difficult especially on console. The only other one I hate is obviously legion. My goodness those matches take forever.
