Kinda sad this month's prime reward has been recycled from a previous rift
Personally, I didn't have this outfit as I don't think I was playing dbd when that rift was out. But a LOT of people do in fact have it, so they get nothing this month, if you already have it and try redeeming the code you just get an error message. I thought prime gaming stuff was meant to be exclusive in-game content. Was no one bothered enough to create a new outfit for this month that you had to dive into a rift and take an outfit from it????
idk just kinda a weird decision by bhvr, I wish they would actually make new outfits specifically for prime gaming. We got Artist's green raritys and haddie's green rarity that should have been in the store with them when they first launched, and now we got a recycled rift outfit.
Sorry to those looking forward to a new fit this month and get nothing. Especially those who have been paying for prime specifically for dbd skins and get their money wasted this month.

And to anyone that gets prime just for rewards of ONE game, do you really have too much money on your hands or lost control of your spending habits?
In my mind paying for Amazon prime ONLY for some dumb skins is everyone own mistake and doesn't make demanding higher quality digital goods reasonable.

And I still find it funny when people whine about other people's whining. Also, the Prime gaming content is apparently meant to be exclusive and only available to Prime members. At least that's what the website says (quote below). But in this case, it's not.
"Explore the Fog in style with exclusive Dead by Daylight cosmetics and offers, only for Prime members."

My mind is supporting such a bad company to begin with for some free skins....I only had Prime Gaming once whenu phone plan gave it for me for free.....after they changed it to Hulu I was happy.

People have a right to complain when the product (both the prime gaming loot for this game and the rift pass) is not what was advertised.

Prime cosmetics on Twitch is a joke for people like me who were grinding out all previous Rifts. Why??? I don't really understand?? So I guess is no Prime reward for me this time. I feel betrayed like that

I assume the shark charm was for the prime offer and as everyone hated a charm and some (myself included) didn't even redeem it, they swapped the charm and the plague outfit for some reason.

they shoulda just given us 1080 cells so we could buy a purple outfit rather than just give the majority of people nothing

I wouldn't care if it was this exact same cosmetic but different color at least... It's not that hard to render cosmetics in different colors but no, we get the same.lame cosmetic like 95% of the community already owns, not even an option to scrap it for shards.
Also where are the auric cells they kept saying we will get with prime? 😅 did that idea get scrapped as well as everything else always does?

we've never said you get Auric Cells with Prime. Rumours are abound constantly, which is why we advise players to only listen to our official communications.

However it's a past tome cosmetic for plague, ngl kinda annoying was looking forward to a new skin..

Your official communication said it would be a "special run of cosmetics to help grow their collection" - a cosmetic players already own from a previous rift does not "help grow" our collections. A recolor at the very least would've helped to grow our collections.

I don't even get shards?? Literally I own so few costumes, and I'm just out of luck because you picked one of like ten cosmetics I already own to include with this month's prime?? You couldn't even be bothered to change the color or something, I just don't get anything???

Yeah, sucks there's no compensation for those who already have the cosmetic, even just automatically giving out shards to those who had it. Though they shouldn't have given it out for prime in the first place, that's the least they could do.

Not only was it in a previous Rift, it's not even from an early Rift. My second DbD account is barely over a year old, yet this new Prime reward is still new enough that I already have it. I wouldn't be thrilled that it's recycled from a Rift no matter what, but I'm annoyed that it's useless even on my Switch where I have practically no cosmetics for Plague, but I do have this one.

Quick question: why would you make sharing codes against forum rules then specifically release codes for cosmetics people are likely to have already?
You could have claimed releasing an existing cosmetic this way was to foster community interaction, but instead went and made a rule against it...

So since this prime skin was an old rift cosmetic, for those who already have it can you give them auric cells or even a good amount of shards? Cause it wouldnt be fair for those who prepaid for prime, and then get an old rift skin that they already have and not even get compensated for it

Sharing codes has always been against the rules of this platform, it's not a new rule. The message is there on the top of the forum only because people were trying to share codes and is a reminder that it's not allowed here.

The forum rules say that trade posts are banned. I don't think it's very obvious that this includes gifting or posting codes. It might be a good idea to update the forum rule to "Any form of trade posts or sharing codes will be removed" to clarify that.
You can ███ or [REDACTED] or even [DATA EXPUNGED].
The codes probably work on all platforms, right? You could buy the game again on a platform that doesn't have cross-progression and use the code there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
