Does making a bhvr account reset dbd progress

I'm trying to merge my steam and playstation dbd accounts and it told me to make a bhvr account but I'm worried it will reset my progress or get rid of my DLCs if I log in to my bhvr account on both platforms, will someone help?

There is no cross progression between Steam and PlayStation currently. The only platforms supported for cross progression are Steam, Stadia and Epic accounts.
