Freddy rework ideas

So as we all know Freddy Kruger a.k.a The Nightmare has been in quite a bad place since the nerf he got like 2 days after his release and since then he became the worst killer in dead by daylight. Now I say we all post something here to either buff him or completely change the way he plays. Allow me to start.
Dream Transition now has -1 second
Freddy can now pull off a survivor from a generator, totem, hook rescue or hatch escape
The lullaby now has a larger radius and the closer he is the louder it gets
Dream world: Once a survivor is in the dream world there will be fake generators, if a surviors goes on one of these and he fails a skill check the generator will disappear and the survivor has to find a real generator (The fake gens will not show up in the real world and if a survivor has a map the fake gen will glow white)
Freddy now has fake windows and pallets once a survivor goes near them they will reveal if it is real or not (Non sleeping survivors will not be affected by this)
For every time a survivor is put in the dream world the less likely there is to be a skill check
There will be one Freddy Hallucination for every survivor that is asleep one fake freddy for all survivors ( This fake freddy will appear at random and have a heartbeat and terror radius but cannot harm the survivors)
Alright so I think this is it, please tell me if this is too op and would make freddy incredibly overpowered. Feel free to change anything from here and post it I would also like to see your ideas for possible buffs.

    Before I give my thoughts i have a question if I have insidious on freddy does it make his lullaby go away when insidious is active?

    Just change 1 thing.

    One.... simple.... thing.

    Set up the dream transition so that survivors cannot interact while transitioning. No generators, no pallets, no unhooking, no healing, no chests... they can only run if they choose.

    Suddenly, he can defend totems, hooks, and get people off generators upon using his power. Additionally, addin's that actually increase the time it takes to transition gain additional utility.

    Run him like that for awhile and see how he plays. That's what I'd do.

    Seems like you're just changing things around without actually addressing any of the real issues. The dream transition interactions would be nice though.

    Yeah, he deffo needs to have something that stops survivors doing stuff while transitioning.

    Not according to the game's wiki, same for the Huntress humming, making Insidious useless for Freddy (Tinkerer too, as it doesn't affect any of his add-ons)

    Well having the survivors not being able to interact with absolutely anything could make him too powerful the only thing they could do is 360 and perhaps I am just changing things around I was just trying to give my ideas on making him a much more unique killer considering hes supposed to be the master of dreams and since he just seems really basic right now

    Wait nevermind I just got what you were trying to say took me a while but yes that could give him some power without him needing all the overexplained changes I gave him in this

    Here is the current ideas that the dev's are thinking of making in next mid chapter patch to Freddy

    • Removing Self-care skillchecks from the wake-up action
    • Base power to sleep the survivors from 7 sec to 4 sec (modifications to the block addons)
    • Reduce the Dream world effects for both sides

    This was mentioned in the June 4th Reddit Q & A also found in these forums.

    They have stated they are currently testing these ideas and i quote "Warning, this is only in testing phase, might not be implemented"

    I totally agree with this idea considering Freddy is pretty similar to the doctor in a few ways, but one buff I think that would be beneficial to Freddy is having a speed boost while not in a chase with asleep survivors. The best way I could compare this to is like a permanent form of Monitor and Abuse on Freddy but he has the same terror radius and what not

    I honestly love these ideas, only thing I'd add is that self care doesn't wake a survivor up.

    I agree with not being able to do a generator once you’re being pulled into the dream world etc. it’s annoying when you pull someone into the dream world and they finish the gen right before they enter it.

    The no chargeable actions possible (repair, healing... (not include vaulting)) while in dream transition is something that we are considering indeed. We are currently working on other Killers, but once we get to Freddy this is something that we plan to try.

    Good to hear Janick! I figured your teams were more focused on the general health and balance of the game first anyway. Does no good to fix a killer to work in the current looping meta if your looking to address that anyway.

    Wow thanks for the response it's good to see you guys working on the overall balance on the game treating the killers with love after all they are your creations well only 4 of them technically aren't because they're from movies but you get the point
