So the devs nerfed the repressed alliance where it doesnt anymore from scourge hook and insta gen regression perks..

Prevent the killer from kicking it. Still usefull but not as much

I'm pretty sure its never prevented the gen from exploding from like Surge, Pain Res etc as other gen block perks don't prevent the gen from doing so. All it does it prevent it from passively regressing

Pain Res has been glitched and damages blocked gens now.

It’s a bug, it’s not just Repressed Alliance, it’s all forms of gen blocking.
Pain Res used to target the most progressed generator that wasn’t blocked. If there wasn’t one, it wouldn’t do anything.

Pretty sure that's how gen blocking perks always worked. They prevent the gen from being kicked or regression, but never blocked explosion regress like jolt, scourge hook: pop, etc.

it used to protect the gen from scourge hook, and regression (even its protected from ruin), now, its not working anymore.
they shadow nerfed it. because the DEVS didnt put it in the patch.

Blocked gens have always been able to regress with perks such as Pain Res but they do not regress with passive regression - killers can't kick them, Hex Ruin doesn't work on them. It's the instant regression that works, that's by design and has always supposed to work in that way.

They weren't able to regress with those perks (except Jolt) until very recently. Are you saying blocked gens being hit by Pain Res has been the intended functionality this entire time?

This was not how it worked until recently. Pain Res used to ignore blocked generators and there was also a bugfix in patch 6.0.0 which specifically prevented Eruption from working on blocked generators:
I remember reporting this myself when it was a thing and it was fixed.

Doesn't "a blocked generator cannot change its progress" specifically mean that this shouldn't work?

I remember testing Repressed Alliance versus Pain Resonance and the blocked gen didn't explode. We put 2 gens side by side with progress, one more than the other, and blocked the one with the most progress before a hook. The 2nd gen with less progress exploded. 100% this was not the case from the start.

I don't think that has always been the case at all. From my own memory and other sources posted, blocked gens were in a kind of stasis, frozen in place at whatever progress they had. Otherwise blocking a gen is nearly always in the killers favor.

Wait a minute, are you saying that Pain Resonance damaging gen locked by Deadlock is not a bug but intended feature?
I cannot believe this, its crazy strong regression and synergy of 2 already super strong perks that shouldnt be possible

Like the people above pointed out. Multiple things that involve exploding gens have been fixed before to not work when they are blocked. PR was like that i think since it first released. And eruption had a bugfix so it specifically didn't.

i believe generator block by entity will never regress by any mean (Deadlock / RepressedAlliance)

Nice! It is kinda weird. Then again ultimate weapon was labeled as "Not a bug" and also got fixed. These forums striking out lately i guess lol.

The ultimate weapon issue being marked as not a bug, was a human error - it happens, Moderators pass on the bug reports to the team and change bug status's - sometimes an error can happen and a wrong drop down is selected. It's unfortunate when it does, but the bug was already on our radar and logged seperately, hence the fix went through.

The bug was where survivors were screaming even if they were in a locker - lockers prevent the scream from occurring.
