EAC Client Cannot be Initiated - ERROR
Hi, I am unable to access the game after the anniversary update. I receive the following error:
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
VIDEO: N/A
PLAYER LOGS: N/A
Does anyone have a workaround for this?? It's frustrating being unable to play with my friends with the anniversary release.

Could you please attach the logs ?
To find them:
- Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
- In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.
- If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
- The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file

Have you guys tried to restart internet connection as to me the amount of people making this report currently on Steam discussion hints for some problem on the EAC not being able to connect to its servers. It would be odd that suddenly many people get the same error and it not being something to do with outside source than their installation when some of them were actively playing before they got this issue.

Haven't been able to get into the game as well. Been trying for a few hours now, same message as OP. Also had another one where it actually progressed a bit further showed some confetti/anniversary intro load screen but then had similar error like "game wasn't initialized correctly"
(I did try deleting EAC and other troubleshooting methods, idk if the logs were affected by that)
