Spectator mode makes screen grey forcing hard close
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
Trying to reload back into spectator mode made the game go grey but still have audio then after trying to hard close game got a unreal unengine crash
PLATFORM:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
- after dying in a match tried to re enter spectator mode to see if last person left was on steam and upon trying to renter game did what below image shows
- was in a public match, my system runs the game at capped 90fps on low settings.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: After being sacrificed in a match, I went to spectate the rest of the match but my game temporarily froze and didn't load the spectator mode. The only thing it did was darken my screen, eventually it becomes unstuck and I can spectate again. This happened in 3 different matches and each time it happened there was at least one survivor with a fog vial equipped.
PLATFORM: PC (Steam)
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Get sacrificed in the game and try to spectate the match. When clicking spectate the game screen darkens and freezes for a time, each time it happened for varying lengths. After awhile the game will unfreeze and spectating can resume as normal. This happens almost every time another survivor has a fog vial equipped.

Not ONLY match starts with awfull FPS.
Game runs worse Overal
Constant lobby connection issues
Game froze in a match and left my PC slideshow mode. I had to Open a new workplace to enter task manager to close game while using a bellow 1 fps mouse speed. PC fan went crazy and PC did weird noises like when you restart gpu driver using keyboard.
But weird enough game was ONLY using 35% CPU on task manager…weird.

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I was dead and I wanted to spectate my teammates and cant see anything. I hear my daryl running and gasping in the endscreen but also hear the sound of the round.

Could you please attach the logs?
To find them:
- Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
- In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.
- If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
- The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file

i had this bug too but if you press a number between 1-4 it lets you switch to a survivor thats alive. For whatever reason spectate sometimes auto spectates you even though you’re dead.

Spectating seems to be broken right now. Sometimes I can spectate, other times I can't because the screen just stays black or something.
