Let me guess, the salty Survivor was the rank 2? How are people already at rank 2 anyways? Do they wake up the moment the ranks reset and play until they reach the red ranks?
If he was the one who got salty, you probably prevented him from reaching rank 1 that game and it pissed him off so much.

I got a message saying I was being reported this morning, too! All because I decided to try to be nice and let the last survivor go.
It just didn't feel like a good victory, because I usually play at red ranks and I lost some ranks a couple of days ago because I was trying to learn a killer I didn't know how to play, and then I deranked further to rank 13, so I was like, nah I'll let this dude go. Take your lantern, little dude. & they panicked and DID NOT TAKE THEIR LANTERN and ran off and ran through the exit.
Then I got a message from one of the dead survivors saying I was WORKING WITH A SURVIVOR, REPORTED!! WHY DID YOU LET HIM WIN? REPORTED!!!
Like, wow, ######### off, guy. I was trying to be nice.

I got accused of lag switching a few weeks back. PS4 lobbies before the event on the survivor side were garbage. You could wait 5-45 minutes and i'm not exaggerating. This is solo or swf, anyway I was playing killer and 4 load in. One is fluctuating between 270-500 ping. The other 3 were all 50-70. I let the time rundown hoping the other person would leave because i didn't want to screw over the over 3. They don't we play anytime i encounter them it is like watching a powerpoint presentation. They are skipping around i can barely connect. I 4k them. This person accused of lag switching and can't wait for DEDICATED SERVERS! I record everything cause i don't trust the process.

If someone was recording the footage, then they can show them the footage and ban them outright. But if someone doesn't have footage and they report someone, they should at least talk to the accused and ask them if they are cheating. There is 2 sides to every story.
