Of course it's the bug that fixed will be a detriment to Killers, business as usual really. Sorry for nerfing DS (which we buffed again), here, have Mettle of Man, basically DS with some decoration.
I hope Survivors are prepared for the Billy meta as soon as MoM gains even more popularity.

So the Nurse blink hit is supposed to count toward MOM? So that means the Wraith's Surprise Attack is also supposed to count towards MOM?
The description states "After getting hit 3 times by a Killer's basic attack"...
So every M1 killer... (Basically any killer who can't down without using their special attack directly to inflict injruy.) will have every attack count toward MOM?
I didn't think the Nurse Blink Attack was a basic attack.
So basically.. Take only one hit killers LULS... THANKS DEVS! I have no problem being forced to take Hill Billy all the time... I just didn't like to because I found him to easy sometimes to play.

What the heck, how is giving every survivor a free deadhard that stacks with deadhard against a killer anywhere near fair?
That change sounds ridiculous, is healing to 99% to avoid the downside going to be addressed if MoM starts working on a bunch of other attacks?

If it helps, it has to do with post-state attacks. Spirit and Hag can also avoid hits that count towards MoM if they hit post-phase walk/post-teleport respectively.
IMHO, the "basic attack" clause should be remove from MoM, Infectious Fright, and Dark Devotion, and MoM should have the number of hits required increased to 4. That would fix all these perks and balance MoM a bit more to keep it from being OP.

So It's not just basic attacks, It's attacks out of powers too, wow.
So any Killer that doesn't have an M2 attack has no way to avoid this perk... jesus.

Well, there's a whole lot of feedback already. And at this point, regarding Legion and Plague feedback, I'm starting to no longer see the point of giving any, either nothing changes or if anything changes, it's never the part of it the community wanted changed, but always the the part they didn't want to change.
You guys are out of touch with your community for most of the significant balance changes and have been for quite a while.
I had high hopes for DbD's future starting with 2.0.0, but I'm losing it again, which is saddening and hugely disappointing.
You've seen the damage old DS has done. I simply do not understand why someone thought MoM would be a good idea after that.

Dude Plague JUST came out. And Legion just came out in December and they said they are looking into reworks.
These thing don't just happen overnight. It actually takes a lot of time to get right. Notice how almost every time they have a knee-jerk-reaction-like change it's awful? There is a reason DS rework took as long as it did, and there is a reason the Freddy rework is still TBD.
MoM literally just came out yesterday. You can't seriously expect changes this quick in game development. Small things here and there are one thing, but to redesign/rework something takes a LOT of work.
Too many people greatly underestimate what game developers actually do.

Well there seems to also be confusion on what is actually bugged..
Even peanits above doesn't explain what is actually bugged...
Is it the blink attack not being counted as a hit?
Or is it the blink attack is not activating the perk once the survivor is hit down, when they've taken 3 basic attack hits?

There is actually a really important distinction on what is bugged about the perk. The one means ALL M1 killers got a nerf.. while the other does not.

If the devs would finally learn from their past mistakes, MoM would never have made it into concept. That's my main point.
And just because something's new, doesn't mean we can't tell by now if it'll be good or bad. We told the devs already during the PTB that Legion was bad and it turned out to be the case.

More or less saying MoM was supposed to be a new DS unless you can insta-down with your Killer, get a leg trap with Trapper, Huntress Hatchet hit, Bleed out timer hits zero with Legion, (MAYBE) Dash Attack with Pig.
Good Job Devs... you lose too many Survivor Mains when you nerfed DS or something? Only counter to MoM is camping a dude out so he can't get hit three times to get MoM.
Nice to know Bad Survivor players still get to control the balance of the game with their wallets.

You aren't wrong in saying that it takes quite a bit a of time to redesign/rework characters and/or perks. However, one thing that can be implemented quickly is statistics. Statistics of a character or perk can be changes that could be a significant balance change; sometimes more than an actual rework itself. Although certain things honestly do need a rework for sure and not just changing statistics. One other thing I will say is that if they had the necessary staff and extra hands to help with it, they can quickly integrate it into the game. Only thing I would be worried about with is indecisiveness.

Well, getting confirmed that Nurse is just bugged means that every killer has to deal with MoM and only Billy, Plague and Leatherface can avoid it. And 2 of them a quite bad if it comes to high level play against swf groups. All other killer with the ability to down survivors with m2 are either ######### anyways or are "hybrid" killers who can't rely 100% of the time on m2 (best example is Huntress, there are a lot of situations where M1 is required instead of M2).

To be fair hearing this is a bug does make the perk a lot stronger than it first seemed.
I personally think the bug should be kept as it, while it is bugged it's fairer and not a guaranteed miss.
Maybe it's time to look at how the perk works overall and others so running some together can negate benefits have imo it should be more of a replacement for DS with similar conditions to activate it so players don't want to run both as it's then a wasted perk slot.

How many raging killer mains... what the ######### are you talking about, is fair for you for a perk to work only half of the times it should? or totally not work against nurse? like if nurse is underpowered. i would understand if you wanted the perk to not work with freddy, but we're talking about THE ######### NURSE. STFU, THE PERK IS BUGGED AND NEED A FIX, THE POWER OF THE NURSE IS TO TELEPORT, THAT'S IT. HITTING RIGHT AFTER USING A POWER DOESNT MAKE THE HIT PART OF THE POWER.

1) I've seen plenty of times when something "just came out" only for it to be played with for a month or two and it turns out to not be that bad because people found counters. When Legion came out I got into a long debate with Scott Jund on his YT video about Legion that he shouldn't jump to conclusions. Turns out he was right, but that doesn't automatically mean people are always right on first reaction. I held judgment for a few months to actually play the game and see how it works it. THEN I formed an opinion. Considering how often initial impressions are flat out wrong, the whole Legion thing is the exception not the rule.
2) Even if we assume the complaints are valid so early, that doesn't change the fact that it still takes time to make the proper changes. IIRC, McLean basically said Legion will get a rework, but since Freddy is next on the list and there are other things to consider it's not gonna happen anytime soon.

You missed the point aswell. It would be alright for Nurse, I personally could deal with it. But it means that not only Nurse is bugged but every other killer aswell whos m2 is combined with M1, for example wraith. That's the issue here my friend.

but that's not an issue, the perk description is "hit by a power", not "hit right after using a power". the point is this perk shouldnt work with instadowns, not to work only against m1 killer. it would be ######### useless.

@Condorloco_26, sadly, that thought crossed my mind earlier today. The sense of balance for DbD seems to mirror the sense of balance I suffered in Overwatch for three years. Which is why I finally left that damned game. I can't fathom myself tolerating the same here in DbD for that amount of time.
Needless to say, I've started "game shopping," once again.

Actually I have played her and I've gotten plenty of 4ks. I normally main huntress but when I played her I felt like I was cheating with how easy she is.
