We all reported the Healing bug, did they even try to fix it for the PTB?
You know, the bug where you can't heal a survivor no matter what you do. Heal button doesn't even appear. I would be very cross if they didn't fix it, it should be a priority 1 bug as it breaks games.
Or maybe it's be design so we can move to the No Heal meta?

It's a bug where sometimes the heal button is disabled on survivors. I see it come up maybe once every two days. I reported it in the bug section some time back and saw a few other people do the same as well.

Uhm, you do realize the Broken status effect keeps the Survivor from being healed, right?
This means if they are using No Mither, or get hit one of the various addons that cause the Broken status, then you can't heal them.
This probably isn't a bug fam.

You sure they're not just holding the run button to troll you? If they hold it even standing still/dying you won't get a prompt to heal.

it's most definitely a bug. it's happen to multiple times in solo and swf, so I know my friend wasn't holding shift or broken

This IS an actual bug. Confused why it isn't more known, as it does seem to be fairly frequent.

Its an actual bug. Same thing happens when you miss a skillcheck with a medkit. It just keeps healing and healing but the bar never moves and you never lose charges. It's pretty nasty.

Side note* It happens with Freddy's Dream World wake-up also. You can't interact with the survivor while awake to wake the sleeping survivor up.

What are you, an idiot? Of course I know broken stops survivors from being healed.

@weirdkid5 This no-heal-bug definitely exists. I've experienced it several times myself. Really, really gamebreaking if the killer decides to slug somebody instead of hooking them.

The missed skill check though is a different bug, but it also came out the same time as this bug came out. They are probably related but I do not know.
The missed skill check you can still heal them, but progress doesn't happen. This also happens with missed skill checks on hooks when you try to leave and the skill check triggers.
This bug I am talking about you can't even start the healing process. M1 (or whatever button you are using) doesn't show up at all. It's incredibly infuriating.

This happened to me last night, got to the end part of the match and none of us could heal, the option didn't even show up. To be fair I wasn't aware of it till then, had never seen it, so can't say how common it is, but i thought i was going nuts.

oh no, it's definitely a bug. it's not a troll or anything.
i've had my experiences of not being able to heal or have others heal me. it also got so bad to the point where i couldn't even work on generators. all actions were canceled.
i'm sure the devs are currently working on a hotfix for the bug. just give them a bit of time to troubleshoot. not all bugs can be fixed on the fly.

This has happened to me a few times. It either lasts the entire match, or the survivor i can't heal needs to be hooked again / saved for me then to be able to heal them. I've also had it where I can't heal myself. My character will start to do the animation of healing but then it will stop almost straight away. It's weird. It doesn't happen a lot, but it's happened enough to be a problem.

I know. It happens with the wake-up action sometimes too. You are awake and the survivor is asleep, but you can't interact with them to wake them up. Have had it happen so I can't heal or be healed also.

This is a known bug and it's being worked on internally - it's certainly not being ignored and it is trying to be fixed.

There is a bug I had self heal I couldn’t heal myself , I couldn’t heal the slugs on the ground I couldn’t heal people who were hurt and no1had broken status,

It's occurring on people who don't have the Broken status. @weirdkid5 I've had games where I couldn't heal someone no matter how I tried and another game where a friend I was playing with told me she couldn't heal me and gave me her med-kit. That's the bug they're referring to.
It's hard to say if it's been fixed yet.

First, to clear it up, OP is not crazy. There is actually a bug that could make it impossible to heal someone.
But getting to the actual topic, we are definitely trying to fix that one, the issue is that it's a very rare bug. In order to fix a bug, we need to understand how to make it happen, then why it's happening, and only then can we actually fix it. Naturally if it's incredibly rare and hard to reproduce, that's going to take a lot longer to find and fix. We are absolutely working on it though, that's a pretty nasty issue.

Good to know it's being fixed. I hope it comes soon, it's game breaking sometimes.
Like in one game I was asleep and people couldn't wake me up so Freddy just slaughtered me. :D
I'm thinking it's one big bug related to all the other similar bugs. Not just the no heal but also the issue when you miss a skill check the same time you leave a hook. But I really don't know.
Just hope it gets fixed soon it's really, really inconvenient and breaks some games.

It seems to happen mostly with Legion, in my personal experience. Doesn't matter what map, but it prevents you from healing yourself, healing others, and mending. Any Legion running Bloodhound can get an easy 4k because no one can heal or mend.

what about the other bug that pretty much guarantees survivors have to attempt to heal you twice because the first one gets cancelled immediately?
that one happens rather consistently on xbox one and has been happening for months.

This bug can be absolutely game breaking if you’re facing doctor and you can’t snap out of it, can’t heal or repair and I’m screaming nonstop
