detection addons ghostface

there seem to be two addons about detection that do the same apparantly, but i'm not sure if it does: i'm talking about "driver's license" and "victim's detailed routine". is there any different between the two?

    The detailed routine decreases the distance at which Ghost Face sees a detection indicator, i.e. the little while thing that points towards the person that saw you. This means that people who are much closer to you will have their location revealed.

    The driver's license, meanwhile, decreases the distance at which the survivors can detect you.

    Drivers license needs to be base and also is ghostface getting a hotfix in ptb

    Sorry but I'm confused, why are the shorter detection trigger distance will be a good thing?
