Likeliness that I'll actually end up in trouble?

So I only just started the game today, and I joined a match as a survivor. My characters are all really low levels and i was playing with much more experienced players and an experienced killer. I died really soon after the game started. I stuck around to spectate, and at the end one of the other players said they would report me for dying on purpose. What's the likelihood that I'll actually be in trouble? Or that my account might be suspended or something?

You'll be fine. If you tried to struggle through hook and no-one rescued you, either killer was protecting thier catch or it's their fault you died and made the game snowball.

Unless they attempted escape on hook, in which case it'd look like a quick suicide. No new player would ever get banned for that though.

When someone reports you for something 10/10 times it doesn't matter, and they're just salty.

Things you can get banned for:

    • Lagswitching
    • Hacking of any kind
    • Excessive exploiting
    • Bodyblocking someone in a corner the entire match multiple times through out different matches.
    • Racial/Derogatory slurs or anything offensive of that sort.

And keep in mind, most reports that hold up either mean you have a massive amount of reports describing that you do the exact same thing repeatedly, and frequently, and or they have clear evidence (video) of you doing something against DBD's rules.

I've only ever met one person ever banned in DBD, and they were banned because a streamer named Shinobazu, had video evidence of him committing the offense, reported it to the devs. It was a two day ban.

In time you will learn to ignore everything the survivors say or just laugh at them like I do

Zero. Even if you died on purpose they can't report you for it as there isn't anything that says you have to live through the game. They could only report you and get an outcome if you were to do something that was outside of normal gameplay. Like helping the killer.

Sometimes I wonder: can someone get banned for sending an excessive number of false reports? I wish it was the case, though it's probably hard to track.

You cant get banned for running to the killer, getti g hooked, and dying on first hook.

As long as you dont DC.

Word of advice- keep after game chat off. Or just remember people will say you are reported, garbage or any iteration of that and because they are mad the game didn't go as they expected it would and want you to be as angry as they are. (or are sore winners)

If you are new it will push you away from this game - which despite all its flaws/bugs is really good at the core.

Getting banned just because of dying... yikes XD

If people reported me for whenever I get Killer Magnet Luck, I'd be permanently banned before the Moonrise Lunar Event was over XD

This. I play a LOT of rocket league. After a while I started just getting salty over the enemy, losing team, talking #########. It was stupid. Turned it off and now its stress free. Mad people are gonna spout ######### wether they win or lose.
