Shrine of secrets is too repetitive.
Why is the shrine of secrets a rotation of the same perks, over, and over again? I could have sworn I've seen knock out like 2 weeks ago, and bond was here like 3 weeks ago,botany knowledge I can't remember the last time that came up, and neither with overcharge (for this week) I feel like a guy just picks the shrine for every week, and he decides to give us wake up most of the time, and other terrible perks!

bond came on shrine around 21 times if I remember correctly, while certain DLC perks just a handful of times. I mean, u can call it "random" but at the end of the Day noone knows if its really random or not. Only the programmer behind the shrine knows.

The last time Knock Out was in the shrine was February, for reference. You may be confusing it for another perk (Franklin's Demise?).
It's all down to luck. The perks are picked randomly, there's only a few rules behind it. There must be two perks for each side (Survivor and Killer) and a perk cannot appear again within three weeks of its last appearance. With the number of perks in the game right now, some are bound to pop up more than others.

Maybe its time for a rework? I mean, beeing forced to buy leatherface just to get one of the best Killer perks in the game is totally not following the purpose of the shrine. And besides that, we had such an increase in the total amount of perks since the release of the shrine, that 4 perks each week is just simply not enough. I recommend 8 perks per week, 4 surv and 4 killer perks

I have an idea, how about removing a perk from the lost once it has been on the shrine once in a calendar year u till you've cycled through them all. Or make some perks viable for up to 2 appearances and others once.
Seriously, I can write a simple Microsoft excel formula that can do that. I'm sure it would be easy for you Devs to do it as well.
Or is it by design that you keep putting the same lame perks up?

There is literally an archive of each Shrine since its inception featured on the Wiki.
Bond appeared 12 times so far, not 21. The Perk that appeared the most so far is Calm Spirit with 16 occurrences.

But what about Haunted Grounds, which has never been in the Shrine, and Ruin which has been in 2 times? I feel the RNG should change too actual rotation of perks, not just RNG.

I think a total of 6 Perks should appear in the shrine because its there for an entire week 7 days and tbh if your a serious or common player you can get an easy 1200-1500 currency a day and if you been waiting and saving your money its a big smack in the face to wait about 2-3 weeks only to get perks you either already had or getting bottom tier perks and to get 150k blood points for perks you current have is ######### give us more like 500 so you mean to tell me 2000 of those crystals are worth 150k bloodpoints?!

I'd prefer if it there was far less randomness in the Shrine of Secret, feels like we're getting the same 20 perks on rotation.

@DaS_only Shrines could use a rework, but I believe the devs resources should be elsewhere for the time being. It isn't too difficult to get a character to level 40 and the DLCs aren't that pricey so with a few payments, you can have all the dlcs in like a month or two if you just got the game.

Exactly, buy one every week or two and grind bloodpoints. If all you want is bbq and chili, then all you need to do is spend $5

Could we get a buff in shrine? Maybe increase the number from 4 to 6? So 1 extra perk for both? Or even better, 8 so an extra 4 per class, if not can we get it reworked? I haven't been on long enough to say that haunted grounds Never came up, but for the past like, 3 or 4 months of me playing, I've never seen bbq chilli, haunted grounds, and so many more, maybe we can get a updated rng system?

what do you mean with recources? It wouldnt take even half a day to do some QoL tweaks like 8 perks or a rule to exclude perks to reappear if they where already in the shrine the past few weeks/months ago. Its not difficult and not time consuming.

Also I want to add: ONE dlc isnt pricy. But we all know, buying all DLC will destroy your wallet. It will cost more than a full price game.

The Shrine may be RNG but no one said each Perk has an equal chance of appearing.

Please think of it from a marketing perspective. If they would put super strong perks from purchaseable characters in the shrine very often, then there would be no point in buying those characters.
