it would be nice if killer’s footsteps sounds get reduced, they’re so loud and annoying! When playing killer ofc

I think Myers is the only really quiet Killer. Everyone else either has really loud breathing, a lullaby in Huntress's case, or goes "BOOM BOOM BOOM" whenever they walk.

Huntress's lullaby was reduced greatly, it is very vague now while playing her which is great relief, cause it was annoying af hearing it repeatitively all match.

I just don't like how they use the 'walking on hollow metal' sound effects no matter what you're walking on now.
Used to be that they had different sound effects for what you're walking on. I assume it's a bug? But it's been a thing for SO long now...

I confuse Pigs breathing with that of surivors occassionaly. That ######### makes me look for phantom survivors and its annoying.

Maybe that's a Killer-specific bug. When I played with the Shape today, footsteps changed to the appropriate material sound.

Hmm might be yeah. I know at least Wraith has constant hollow metal footstep sounds, at least in places like dirt/grass. Pretty obnoxious how long it's been like this.

Ive personally noticed it on Ghost Face, Legion, Freddy, Michael and Trapper that I've played recently on PS4.

@Peanits I have noticed this specifically on wraith and other 'stealth' killers. It completely ruins them. Although, Huntress and other killers have it too. It seems to be more noticeable on tile-based tiles. Like lery's floor or a wooden tile. Although, all of the sounds are louder than need be for stepping. Including Survivors walking in some cases.

They should at least scale to the Killer. Trapper would walk like that. Huntress wouldn't.
