Possible vigil buff?

Right now vigil is hands down one of the most unused perks in the game ever since the exhaustion tweaks a while back which made it so you can no longer recover exhaustion while running.

My suggestion would be to make it so Vigil allows survivors to recover ONLY from exhaustion while running but at a lower rate than if they were walking/crouching, say 10%, 20% and 30% of what the walking recovery rate would be? This is just an example of what it could be, I have no idea how those stats would actually play out in-game.

This has probably been suggested already but I thought maybe it could be a good idea to throw out there just in case

I don't think 10% would be that bad to deal with. It'd take 600 seconds to get it back that way. It might shake up the meta as well.

Honestly they could double Vigil's efficiency and it'd still be one of the perks you rarely come across because it doesn't help during a chase as exhaustion doesn't regress whilst running and your exhaustion is reset once hooked anyways.

It would be useful for people who want to 99% their sprint burst but that's about it and they'd even use a perk slot to make 99-ing more viable so why not buff it to 40% straight away? Give survivors something to work with.

Vigil should give another effect, IMO.

If it messes with exhaustion it is either terrible or overpowered.

I think it should decrease time it takes for other bad effects like exposed or blindness or hindered to fade away.

Thus it would be quite strong, but not op.

    For example numbers would be:

increases your resistance to the effects by 20/30/40%.

So if you were affected by exposed for 60 seconds, it will last only 36 seconds on you if you have vigil lvl 3.

Numbers could be increased/decreased ofc, but you get the idea.
