So DbD at Gamescom...
What do you think is going to happen during the event? Do you think there will be a reveal like Ash at Pax East?
They just added a big green notification saying there will be a bar meetup as well.
Big week next week potentially? 🤔

Gamescom is the best way to reveal games and game related content due to the sheer mass of people so I reckon the devs are going to reveal the next chapter.

The meet up is just so you can have a talk with some members of the DBD team and have a drink, snack.

Sure....

@Boosted ok that tone...
I'm just saying this so that people doesn't get their hope to high for the meet up.
We are doing this because we do not have a booth at Gamescom so this is why we have decided to have a least a get together at a bar so you can have a chance to talk with some members of the DBD team (that is mentioned in the event reservation) it is limited so you need to reserve.

@Patricia I didn't mean for that to have a negative tone sorry :P

Sounds like a wonderful get together with the team.
Totally not a chance to get them wasted to spill their beans. Remember you can't be held liable for a legal agreement if you were wasted when you signed it!Post edited by Jdsgames on1 -
Shush! Don't give them ideas.Yeah, this is going to be a great get together with the dev team.

Wanting expectations to be low is strange 🤔
Surely you guys are going to Gamescom for a reason, not just for the meet-up?
I guess i'll try not to expect anything then.

I mean, we're at the very least getting Bloodweb news until the end of this month, according to the devs.
I don't really care if it happens at a convention or if they just reveal it via internet.
At the very least it's very nice of them to arrange a get together between the community and team members <3

Please don't ever turn on chat in the game you are a community moderator of if that post upset you. I can see how it can seem disrespectful (even if it wasn't intended to be as explained by the poster) but much worse things are regularly posted ingame and nothing seems to be done because in a 'pvp game there's always going to be a certain amount of "smack talk"'.
You are in a position where you can do something about the tone in the community. If you dislike that kind of tone, act.

Hello @Madjura
the person already said that it wasn't in a bad way and it's fine now <3 It can be hard to have the right tone by text/message and I didn't know, this is why the person replied to me so I can understand better and I really appreciate. I'm human too and I have feelings, some days it can be harder than others and maybe it was that day for me.
Minor rectification on what you mentioned I'm Community Manager I don't really moderate only if needed we have a team that does it (moderators).
Also we do something in the in-game chat not because we are not always talking about it that it means that we don't do anything. @Peanits Can explain you more about the process for the in-game report, he knows more about it.
Have a great day
