Where did you see this?
0 -
Did they already nerfed a perk that was niche? LOL
2 -
No idea where you are seeing this, seeing as its not on the ptb yet.
0 -
You can see the new perks in KYF already.
6 -
you can see the new perks on the PTB in KYF. it was 32 meters when they showed us the perk on the devs stream, now its down to 24 meters...
10 -
I can't play the PTB because I'm on console, but that's probably the tier 1 version. Are you looking in KYF or the character profiles? KYF has all of the perks at tier 3.
0 -
Its KYF tier 3 is 24m for both
0 -
Surge and Cruel Limits have their range at 24 meters at tier 3.
0 -
damn, so they even nerfed two perks already.
15 -
Surge works with PGTW, on all gens, and PGTW doesn't go on CD. I guess, it needs to be fixed :D
3 -
They said values aren't final and might change until PTB and change until hitting life of course. It's a normal step during development a lot of perks and values get tweaked beforehand.
21 -
They said in the Devstream that everything is Subject to change. So...
19 -
That’s an extreme nerf to a niche perk. But don’t worry in about 3 months they will buff it like they do to all new perks. For some reason Behaviour has a tendency of putting out perks weaker and tweeking numbers as time goes by. Look at dark devotion and infectious fright. They just got there numbers tweeked finally

That sounds ridiculous. Are we sure this is intentional?
1 -
I haven't had a chance to test but seriously why would they do that though?
It was already a situational perk at best with no real use outside of a 3 gen strat since it couldn't be paired with Pop or Overcharge.
So now if it stays at 24m, That means This perk will only work under circumstances where There's an active generator that hasn't been kicked within 24m of the person being downed outside of the 40 second cooldown .. all this set up for 12% regression. You'd be better off just using Pop in it's place.
6 -
They buffed camaraderie, now it stays paused for 34 seconds lol
8 -
LOL
8 -
OMG
5 -
That'll be a really good perk if it stays that high lol
4 -
Since 2 Survivors are not on gens at this point, yeah its a good Perk for Killers.
0 -
its good when 1 gen is left and hooked person has adrenaline and needs more time ,. this perk will be op on swf once again
5 -
Why did they do that 😑 Atleast they could increase the range a bit, cause its so annoying that every new killer perk gets nerfed or is a niche perk. They shouldnt be afraid of implement some strong perks, hope they change it back during the ptb. Demodog needs some good perks and no perks for a niche to hide 😑

Second Wind heals you even when you're in TR.
2 -
Second wind was buffed. You don't need to be outside of terror radius to make this perk starts to heal you.
2 -
The huntress can hit multiple people in a line due to new dedicated servers lag :D
0 -
At that strong it might become a regular used perk
0 -
Why not just 30? Weird value.
2 -
Why would they do that? At least check if it needed the nerf before doing it. Isn't that what the PTB is for?
1 -
i love that people asked for it to be the terror radius and instead they made it smaller. Fortunately!... its just the PTB, and the point of it is to see what the community thinks, so theres still time to get it changed.

-
I'm assuming they did.. internally. PTB isn't the first time these things are tested.
1 -
Surge wasn't that powerful to begin with. 24m makes this perk useless.
5 -
I doubt they'll change it.

@Hoodedfengm1n I think Behavior adopted the Blizzard formula: We nerf fun!
2 -
The problem is we didn't get an explanation, AND, AND, we didn't get to test it out for ourselves.
I think the community would be more understanding if we got an explanation from the developers on why they changed it. This includes everything, it isn't just a killer specific thing. :)
2 -
We did mention that they were subject to change. That stream was recorded weeks in advance while the perks were still being balanced.
Basically we'd erred on the side of caution. On a small map like Coal Tower or in a three gen scenario, it could be overwhelming. If it's too good, that's going to make it hard to actually review feedback on the new killer (is it because the killer's too good, or just because of the perk?). If it's not good enough, worst case scenario we buff it before the update goes live. This is what the PTB is for, after all.
This is why we typically don't reveal numbers until they are final.
30 -
Personally, I don't care what gets changed as long as we get a reason behind it. :)
The developers don't act randomly, they do things with reason, and I think it would be nice if the community gets to hear their thought process. That's all.
10 -
Good god people. They said the numbers were subject to change on the devstream.
No one said 'This is how it will be forever plus a day and we will never nerf it'. Slow your roll.
The devs don't have to answer for every little change and, if I were one of them, I'd stop giving reasons all together after some of the vitriol-filled/sarcastic posts some people make.
3 -
Apparently, the huntress not only can shoot multiple people in a line, she also can double hit the same person with one hatchet. Definitely something to work on.
0 -
If it's not good enough, worst case scenario we buff it before the update goes live. This is what the PTB is for, after all.
Best case they nerf it some more.
😂

Like the Pig nerf? There was no reason.
4 -
Ah shhhhi*, here we go again.

The EGC change was for a very good reason. I don't think I even need to explain that one, but having the old RBTs with an end game build (toss Blood Warden in there just for good measure) was incredibly overpowered and took no skill to pull off.
The basic attack change is part of an ongoing process to standardize what a basic attack is. The ambush was one of the outliers as it was definitely not a basic attack. It required you to crouch and then charge it first to do something no other killer could do. By all means, there was nothing basic about it.
The reason is to make it more clear which attacks are and aren't basic attacks. It's not very clear what counts when something like an ambush counts while a hatchet doesn't. Both were powers, but only one was actually considered a basic attack before. We'll be reviewing other powers and making sure they're consistent going forward.

Was only gonna get the new killer for the teachables, cause god knows when it'll show in the shrine. And I don't care about the survivors perks at all, let alone the DLC itself.
If they nerfed it already, guess i'm gonna wait a little bit. Like the Freddy DLC.
0 -
There was a reason. You just don't agree with it
1 -
I would be pleasantly surprised if the range for Surge would get increased after the PTB.
0 -
Yes, Pig needed a nerf for EGC.
BUT deleting the complete ability isnt a solution.
Just slow down the timer, if someone wears a RBT.
Or just test it out in the PTB.
But deleting a complete killer ability is just dumb and lazy.
