Switch version - Account import?
So, I've just read through the release info for the Switch version. At $40, I get that it's releasing with several of the DLC characters. However, apparently there are a few DLC that are MIA, like Leatherface and Freddy, what's up with that?
Anyway, given the grindyness of the game, will there ever be an option to import my account infos and unlocks over to the Switch version of the game? I'd happily pay for the Switch version, even at the $40 price point, if I could bring all my PC progress over. A one time import to get all my survivor and killer levels/perks/etc.
@Peanits - Any idea if this will be an option? Hell, I'd pay for the price of the Switch port, $40, PLUS an additional ~$5, simply to not have to regrind.

Well, doesn't hurt to ask. If enough ask before throwing money at it, maybe they'll consider it as an option.
If people throw money at it FIRST then Hell no. Personally, I won't give Behaviour any more money without that being an option.

Or they should really lower the values of the web...

Lowering the values of the web kind of helps. But I've already dropped $120 on the PC version. Know what I mean? It's not so much the perks as the actual content. I really do not want to repay for Leatherface, Freddy, Demo, etc again.
Maybe I'm alone in this and people will just throw money at it. But when you release a game on a new platform it should be a base option to load your stuff in. Paying for the base game is fine, they obviously went through whatever amount of work to get it on the new platform but re-paying for all the content? No.

I have every DLC and about 30 exclusive skin sets on PS4, I feel ya

Well, I was curious so I tossed all the Killer DLC in my Switch cart and it worked out to another $116. Which is basically the exact price I've already paid for the Base game plus all Killers on the PC. And, so I've heard, you don't get Leatherface and Freddy! So I'm paying MORE MONEY for LESS content.
Explanation please?
Paying for Base game I'm fine with, like I've said, because they've obviously put some work into getting it on the Switch. Paying for all the content which I've already supported? Nah. They'll get no more out of me without word on transferring account info over, even if its just a 1 time thing.
For anyone who thinks I'm being ridiculous and unreasonable just consider the fact that Fortnite is cross platform. Fortnite also transfers all your cosmetics between platforms. Oh, and the base game is free. I'm not an entitled gamer. I simply expect a higher standard from developers.

Fortnite has fortnite accounts.
There is no such thing as a Dead by Daylight account so thats why this isn't a thing...

Well, there is in fact a DbD account, and that shows in the options menu and you need that ID to create tickets and stuff.

BBQ is a base perk in the switch version jajaja

yup. Just like bills perks before he was added to consoles, leatherface and freddys perks are perks you can just find in the bloodweb (and quentins)

You're still ending up with less content, LF and Freddy, for more moneym. Not to mention the grind. Cool to know you get BBQ in the bloodweb but I still don't think that makes up for it.
Are Leatherface and Freddy on PS4/Xbox? What happened to the Switch?
Also, I was going to say we def have DbD IDs. Because of what @Gorgonia said. I remember having to dig it up when opening a ticket.
Still waiting to get more info on this. Its 6am here in BC which means its 9am in Quebec... wonder what time these guys open up shop.

So, @Peanits said in another thread that its currently not a thing.
Is this in the works? Any update on LF and Freddy? Why haven't I seen a single update on where these two killers are for Switch version?

Cross-progression is not in the works at the moment.
We would like to have Leatherface and Freddy in the Switch version. When we negotiated for the rights to use them in 2017, the Switch version did not exist (nor was it planned). Since they're not our characters, we would need to get permission to use them on the Switch first. We can't give an ETA here, there's no telling how long this can take (or how fast it can be), but we would like to bring them back.

Thanks for your response, much appreciated. I noticed you said that cross progression is not currently in the works, I suppose that means that it has been brought up interally at some point?
