Why not change Rules Set No.2?
After the PTB, the devs decided to change the Demogorgons ultra rare add on red moss that would allow shred to destroy any dropped pallets and add that to the Demogorgons base kit. If you all decided to do that, then why have you not changed Amanda's utra rare add on Rules Set No. 2 that makes survivors unable to see jigsaw boxes until the timer is activated part of her base kit? Survivors can still find the boxes by running around the map. They are not really hidden, they make noise, and have a billy on each one.

so equipping an add on is a nerf? what?

At least he admits it 😂.

Hey, this was what I understand from the discussion back then. Like the RBT's should encourage survivors to search a jigsaw boxes instead of doing gens, because the aura's is not show to them.

Why would it be a nerf?

The idea of an RBT is to slow people down, force them to do something other than a generator. But since you have 2:30 to search four boxes, you can easily afford to do a generator first and then search for your key. It's much more efficient this way since you don't need to waste time searching every inch of the map for boxes. The thing that's meant to slow down generators suddenly makes doing a generator the optimal way to approach it.
Nothing against it if you want to run the add-on. If you like it, go nuts. But it's not for everyone and I don't think it should be forced on everyone.

It's 2:30? Feels shorter for me, I did have my head pop once but because I had a Pig block the box and I got snapped, rip.

Have the team never thought about making Rule no.2 basekit.

@Peanits That doesn't really change anything though. People can STILL do a generator before choosing to go remove their traps now, if they wish. They just have the option to go remove their traps first since auras are shown with inactive traps.
Ruleset #2 forces the survivor to either spend a lot longer looking for boxes (since they can't see the auras) before doing a gen, or as you say, doing a gen first to have the auras shown but now they run the risk of going to the wrong boxes and/or getting chased and not having enough time to take them off.
I understand your argument, but the option to do what you claim R#2 base kit would cause is still there. R#2 base would simply make waiting for the trap to trigger to take it off a lot riskier, or forcing you to waste a lot of time to avoid that risk.
In absolutely no way, shape or fun is that a nerf to Pig.

Couldn't agree more. It would make the traps an actually threat, so often do I have the survivors take out the trap before it even activates. They want to do gens since they can't see the aura? Good! Once the trap activates, they have more pressure and anxiety XD

I think the point is if they couldn't see the boxes there would be no point in reaching. It makes survivors do the gens first so they can see them as to not waste more time blond searching.
Right now they can see the boxes so have that choice and well some do some don't but if they couldn't see them tou have to agree most wouldn't unless they are new to the game so it doesn't help in the high ranks.
I put it out that maybe rsno2 could be tweaked so the survivor sees one (maybe two boxes at random and they don't see more when any gen is done. They only see more as they search. Maybe even if the Pig chases the trapped survivor for an amount of time or re downs them they are all shown for that survivor for the duration of the game.
This is to make survivors want to get them off as they don't know the most efficient route. It also stop the Pig tunnelling as it's less beneficial for prolonging the game. It's a mix of rsno2 and what it is now.

So taking away the aura is a nerf to her how? It makes to where they can't take it off in less than a minute. They spend more time looking for the box and less time on gens. It's really a buff. @Peanits
Edit: Nevermind, just saw your explanation for it.

Bump, it's the dumbest addition to watch survivors run OUT of the trial with a bear trap on their head. Shin kick to Amanda

heres how i look at it
as it is now: survivors spend up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds getting their trap off before doing a gen.
Rules Set No. 2 basekit: survivors finish a gen, then spend up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds getting their trap off before doing another gen and actually hope they dont die.
same result, more stress.

Make it like the exit gates at end game. No aura until trap activates and then auras of boxes are shown for 10 seconds and then disappear. That would definitely cause stress and slow the game down.
As it is the traps really don't do anything. Any time i die to pig it isnt because i spent half the match looking for a key, but because i got tunneled.
