Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

What if the tinkerer tier 2 bug from a while ago was infact it's own perk.

So the bug made it so once someone had a generator completed at 85% you would have no terror radius.

Think of some perk ideas which would give you the opportunity to have no heartbeat from doing/earning a certain thing.

Hex: Fade to Black - Your red stain is slightly more discernable. Once a Survivor is hooked or rescues someone else from the hook they will become oblivious until the relative hex is destroyed. This hex totem is disguised as a dull totem. All dull totems are highlighted for the killer.

I feel like my idea doesn't really click perfectly to how I'd want it but it's a basis for kicking off some discussion and ideas.

That's what tinkerer is supposed to do. It removes your terror radius when a gen is at 85%.

Ummm if I’m not mistaken the tinker 2 bug made it so you lost your terror radius for the whole match.

Tinker 2 currently makes you lose your TR for like 15 seconds I think once a gen hits 85%

Was the bug the wrong percentage or was it permament until the gen was completed? Because what you described is tinkerers function.

The bug was permanent for the rest of the match. It was such a fun but unfair perk going against.

Yeah what Peanits said makes more sense with the games logic.

I just think the idea of the Survivor being "huh, what's going on" was the most satisfying part of when I encountered the bug a while back. Since it's a hex totem I feel like it should be a little darker just because the name I gave this perk was hex - fade to black. Could only light once you are very close to it.
