Bad matchmaking. Things like a 5000 hour killer and a 500 hour teammate who runs into walls are way too common. Too many things that waste your time. These things aren't bad on their own but they add up over time. Examples are people dodging lobbies and causing it to take you several extra minutes just to start a game.…

Slugging changes coming finally? Don't think they asked all of those questions for no reason.
-
The overly optimistic part of me likes to believe there will be an entire update where they delete toxic/excessive slugging and any other things that waste people's time. I'd like to think knock out will be a part of it. I've personally never played against anyone who wasn't using this just for the sake of being toxic. The…

This is the hardest i've laughed at a thread in the entire time i've been on this forum.
-
So I watched his latest video. Scott said she could be overpowered and that some aspects of her kit shouldn't have been buffed as much as they were. His main point was that it's too early to be sure.
-
It's because survivor isn't fun. Especially not in solo queue. To quote something Otz said the other day. "Winning as a killer with one perk is easier than winning in solo queue". The effort required to play solo only to lose in the end just isn't worth your time. I am currently playing DBD less than I have in the past and…

At this point I think it's a deliberate effort by Behavior to make people earn less BPs. Between these last few events and the fact that there is rarely a good BP incentive anymore.
-
He was overbuffed when they took his scamper away. I don't think they should have reduced his dash speed though. I would rather they revert everything except the extra cooldown. The problem most people had with Chucky wasn't that his power itself is too strong. It's that it was possible to spam it because the cooldown was…

I'd be very surprised if he said this. Hens is associated with the comp scene and they allow crouch teching against strong killers. Even so called "high level" players don't think it's an issue.
-
Hopefully Blight or Nurse if we're lucky.
-
Glad to see him get a nerf to be honest. The Hens showcase showed how busted he is against even a well coordinated group of survivors. Pair that with how extremely easy he is to play and you have a justified nerf.
-
The game was being carried by novelty game modes this year. These new modes brought in a lot of players. The novelty has worn off as shown by how much lower the player counts were in the second version of 2v8. It wasn't going to keep that high forever. The population is just going back to where it would usually be. The…

Hens suggested it should be basekit after being slugged for two minutes. This would punish excessive slugging and not normal gameplay.
-
I noticed the incentive stopped working less than a day before the last version of Lights Out. I am usually stuck at 25% and rarely go above that. My queues seem longer too. They obviously broke something and either don't know how to fix it or don't care. The incentive does NOT work the same way it used to.

4500 Hours and don't get anxiety. The possibility of losing doesn't bother me in the slightest. Judging by end game chats some killer mains seem to have an existential crisis if they lose. I've never understood this type of reaction and never will. I guess some people are just wired differently.
-
You might as well just delete basekit BT if you're going to do this. You would basically be guaranteed to die if you got hooked in the end game except in the very unlikely situation that your teammate brought the perk. This basically just gives the killer a free kill that the survivor has no counterplay for. Survivors USED…
-
I don't think it will change much. People who want out will just run to the killer and give up. The killer can bleed them out but the game will still be ruined for everyone else. If they start banning people then they will start doing it in more subtle ways. Like act as if they are trying only to run into a wall mid chase.…
-
I actually finally did give up on playing survivor for the most part. The only time I play survivor is when there is a new event/special game mode or if a new page opens up in the tome. Playing solo survivor in the current state of the game is one of the most miserable experiences I have ever had in online gaming. I…

The people who are defending thrill will defend anything that benefits killer. It doesn't matter how ridiculous it is or what the most well known killer players think of it. These are the same people who defended old eruption and three gen skull merchant by trying to pass it off as a skill issue on the part of survivors..…
-
After watching several videos on thrill of the hunt I agree. I have no idea how this ever got through the ideas stage. Now the question is do we have to suffer through it for a long period of time like the eruption meta or will they nip it in the bud before it gets out of control.
-
You're arguing with a forum full of players who passionately argued that nurse isn't actually overpowered and survivors just need to git gud. Good luck and may god help you.
-
He definitely needed nerfs but they nerfed the wrong thing. It was the bat form that needed to be nerfed.
-
Pick rate after the initial hype will speak for itself. If it's the game changing perk killers think it is then it will be used by everyone. If not then it will be just another dead perk. I don't think anyone in the average match will bring it after realizing it immediately puts them on death hook. Killers who tunnel also…
-
This would be great if the events didn't make the queues way longer for some of us who want to play normal. This is a big part of why so many people were dreading the return of 2v8.
-
I doubt it. Survivor gameplay just isn't fun. You either dominate or you get two killers who run around tag teaming in which case there is zero actual gameplay for you. You just go down and there's nothing you can do about it. No way to make that fun.
-
Could you please give people a reason to play killers other than huntress? She is just way too common to the point where she is making the mode boring.
-
Having to bring the same two add-ons every game as Xeno.
-
Game might actually be worth booting up.
-
I have been matched with comp players from several well known teams despite being a solo only player. There is no functional MMR in this game. Don't overthink it. MMR at this point is just something people use to boost their own ego and to discredit other players who aren't on their "level".
-
There is definitely something wrong. The queues for killer should not be this long with no incentive for survivor. It doesn't make any sense at all.
-
Killer mains really are desperate to get that extra ten seconds removed.
-
All I know is i'm ready for this game mode to go away. I can't even play the normal game because the queues are so long. It isn't even driving up player numbers by a large amount anymore if you believe steam charts. It's just dragging the normal game mode down at this point. You can't keep sacrificing the base game for…
-
Bots are useless in this game. They break down the second a terror radius shows up. Imagine a significant portion of your team being bots when there are multiple killers. You'd lose every match since the bots would just run around like headless chickens. I don't know how casuals would react but the day they add bots is the…
-
So as much as I hate the lack of killer variety I am actually 10-0 in my survivor games. I would have been 11-0 but I just got a dedicated server error. It might be… too easy? I feel like i'm playing killer in 1v4.
-
Same killers over and over again. Every game I get is some combo of Billy, Blight, Huntress. Hillbilly in particular is not fun to play against at all.
-
I think Behavior severely overestimates how much people enjoy playing against overtuned killers. One of my favorite things about 2v8 last time was not having to worry about Billy flying around the map and insta downing the entire team. I get that it's fun for the person playing him. The problem is it won't be fun at all…
-
They won't even acknowledge something is wrong.
-
The difference is frequency. The logistics of putting together a four man SWF dedicated to this kind of build makes it so rare that it doesn't matter. On survivor you can get a killer running four slowdowns every 2-3 games. Can gen rushing builds be OP? Sure but lets not act like they're anywhere near as common as high…
-
This is easily the most overhyped perk I have seen in years. It won't be anywhere near as good as people are claiming it's going to be. Everyone will stop using it when they realize how easy it is for killers to counter. People will just camp and down the unhooker. Then he's on death hook. No one in solo queue is going to…
-
He is still good. I have gotten at least a 3K in my last seven Chucky matches. With all of the gens being completed only once and the only escapes being through the hatch. Don't know what more people want when he is already extremely strong and easy to play. I am hardly what you would call an amazing Chucky either.
-
You missed Chucky's Rat Poison addon being thrown into a volcano.
-
Killers being strong is fine outside of a handful of exceptions. The problem is they keep nerfing maps on top of it. You can't keep reworking and releasing every killer into the A tier while we have maps like Haddonfield. If killers are going to be strong as a default then maps should be buffed. They shouldn't be balancing…
-
The hatch should just open a certain amount of time after the second to last survivor goes down. Someone brought up a similar idea in another thread and i'd be completely on board with it. Then close once one person goes through it to prevent multiple people from getting hatch. Make adepts only require a 3K. Killer still…
-
It's just the devs being stubborn. Everyone told them this was a terrible idea from the start. Yet they went ahead with it anyway for no real reason. What they need to do is admit it was a bad idea and get rid of the system entirely. It's definitely not something that makes the game more fun for the majority of players. No…
-
Everyone will get sick of it faster than you think. It's way too limited compared to the base game. You can't make your own build and are severely limited in which killers you can play. After 2-3 versions of it we will be in diminishing returns territory. Then hopefully it will become less frequent.
-
Even killer biased content creators like Otz don't say it's survivor sided anymore and will freely acknowledge that the game is at least moderately killer sided in 99% of matches. I assume it's just an ego thing for a lot of people. No one wants to freely admit that they play the "easy" role. What I do know is that my…
-
I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to add a basic mechanic where survivors can bleed out faster when there are two people left. That and a system that automatically ends the match when all four survivors are slugged with no way to get up.
-
Funny enough I just got out of a game with a Sadako like this on Hawkins. We got absolutely destroyed and could barely even retrieve any tapes. One of our teammates never did manage to retrieve one at all and was out of the game at 4 gens left. At that point the game was just over. I don't know if this is OP or not but it…

The Bat Form has to be nerfed significantly. The current state of it has Dracula in the conversation to be an S tier killer. There is basically no cooldown to go from bat form into an M1. It's completely overtuned and also brain dead gameplay. Dracula will be a fair killer once this is solved.
-
I don't actually run into that many people who do it for no reason. It's usually something which happens in games that are total train wrecks. Games where the survivors have no hope of coming back. Something like an S tier killer who ends up with five hooks before the first gen even pops. Then someone sees which way the…
