Re: Improving Dead by Daylight (for both sides)
Appreciate that… and yeah, I know it’s a long one. If you had to pick just one point to prioritize (anti-cheat, SoloQ tools, MMR, etc.), which would it be?
Re: Killer sided or Survivor sided?
Designed to be Killer-sided. Devs aim for 60/40 towards Killer.
Whether or not that's a good thing is up for debate, but it is objectively Killer-sided by design.

My personal opinion is that you should shove your personal opinion back where it came from.
Re: Killer sided or Survivor sided?
it's killer sided. game is balanced so killers have a 60% average kill rate (although many are actually closer to 65-70%). competent killers easily win >90% of their games no matter what killer they're playing as. i don't consider myself a good killer and have a >75% kill rate on every killer in the game.
if your argument is that it's SWF sided that's just not true. we know that only 10% of players play in SWFs. we also know that even high mmr SWFs on average have an escape rates below 50%. thus the argument that the game is SWF sided falls flat when you're really only talking about a very small number of overall players being able to outperform the odds.

Re: Hello!!! Is anyone even here anymore??
It's not disproportionally higher, you're making that up, it's a small percentage of at most 6ish percent which is probably heightened that there is less 4 mans in "high MMR", overall its still the same as the others. Co-ordination will always be king in team games. it doesn't matter how you "nerf it" in this case. This is also year-old pre ghoul data also.
And it does help it, a lot of what people complain about is stacked second chances etc syringe was widely hated for that reason.
Nurse/Blight and even ghoul are literally solo characters who are just better choices in every regard compared to most of the cast and I just don't think its anywhere near the same comparison, solo Q arguably has a higher overall, does that make them more overpowered Coffee? LMAO
Re: Regarding the Gooning Allegations...
We already have a big variety of Survivor characters in the game. But people dont play them, because they dont like them. I mean, just look at Haddie for example - there was even some weird movement to give her Skins and then she got 3 or 4 Skins in a row. And guess what? Nobody plays Haddie because she does not look good and people would prefer playing a good-looking character.
Meanwhile almost every game has a Sable, since she is a very attractive Survivor.
For BHVR it is just better to create attractive Survivors since those sell better and especially sell more Skins. Sure, this also means they get more Skins, but for BHVR it is better to create a Skin for all those Sable-Mains compared to the 3 Haddie-Mains around. And as long as Survivors are not different from each other (and they should never be more than Skins), then it is better for BHVR to create a good-looking Skin compared to a bad-looking Skin. Even if the old lady or the dude with the beard looked really unique.
Re: Regarding the Gooning Allegations...
Players (men and women) generally prefer playing as/looking at attractive characters. This is basic biology not some perversion.
Re: Regarding the Gooning Allegations...
The youngin is just so basic and doesnt really check off any new boxes as opposed to others who do.
We dont have an older black man other than Tapp, but I wouldnt necessarily count him since he's licensed.
Granny to me is the obvious pick since we dont have an older female survivor yet.

Re: Improving Dead by Daylight (for both sides)
Matchmaking definitely needs to be a priority, especially when you consider how lopsided things tend to be.
I have 2000 hours in the game, been playing on and off since late 2018, and at times I get matched against brand new players when I play killer. This should ideally NEVER happen, and in those matches, I often feel so bad that I let the survivors go.
In all honesty, I miss the days when the game had ranks, before BHVR started experimenting with MMR. Those days had the best matchmaking experience in my humble opinion.
