Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
Giving solo players additional information about their teams perks and a lesser kindred (no killer aura) or some other team info would dramatically improve the solo experience without providing any benefit swf doesn't already have. If those solo buffs effect kill rates we would then see buffs to the killer side to push the kill rates back to where bhvr wants them, those buffs could come in many forms with the most straightforward being additional gen time or regression buffs.
Re: Dead by Daylight Quality of Life Initiative: Updated Roadmap
I think they've done a pretty good job so far!
at doing the bare minimum for nothing
Re: Dead by Daylight Quality of Life Initiative: Updated Roadmap
We do need a huge fix!!!
Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
Even if we accept that tunnelling will always be in the game, it could at least become a legitimate part of the game and be balanced like one.
Re: Can 2025 PLEASE be the last year to release high mobility killers?
Its high time for dbds gameplay to alter to the killer being played. Examples
Pig smaller map less "strong" tiles maybe either a strong main or shack not both
But ghoul would have a bigger map with more resources for the survivors
Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
This feels one sided but so do many of the comments. Solo queue is a nightmare for survivors RN as killers can easily hard tunnel and use slow down builds that essentially block all progress after a certain point, but we also have the annoying 4 man sweat squads that all killers assume is in every game that are making it harder on everyone who plays casually.
Atp I'm not even sure how this game can be balanced in equal favors when the games design allows a baby trapper to face 4 p100 flashlight bangers and not take into account the fact that poor trapper has less playtime than the amount of time it took for said 4 man to queue up for one game.
Imo they need to completely rebuild the game from the ground up, but that requires actually working and why do that when the players are still giving you money for cosmetics released back in 2017. Sorry for the rant.
Re: Why I’m Hanging Up My Medkit: Reflections After 2,500 Hours
true. game is as boring as its ever been on the survivor side regardless. for 5 years all they've done is take, nerf, remove, and stomp on the survivor role. they won't be happy until we all quit playing i guess. most of my friends wont even touch the game anymore; because it's clear to have a fighting chance against an even remotely competent killer not only do you need a phd in the game, but so does the rest of your team as well.
Why I’m Hanging Up My Medkit: Reflections After 2,500 Hours
I wanted to share my final thoughts as I decide to step away from Dead by Daylight. This game has brought me incredible friendships, but the current environment has become too toxic to enjoy.
The shift toward a heavy aura-reading meta, combined with the lack of effective moderation against tunneling and slugging, has made the survivor role feel like a chore rather than a game. It’s disheartening to see veteran players being demolished by new players simply because of unfair perk interactions or ping exploits.
I hope for the sake of the remaining players that Behavior starts listening to the broader player base instead of focusing solely on high-level streamers/comp players. Until then, my survivor era is over. Thank you to all the survivors and killers I’ve had fair, fun matches with over the years.
Re: Dead by Daylight Quality of Life Initiative: Updated Roadmap
the majority of the things that were promised didnt get delivered
the game is still buggy and the anti-changes that was promised to us 9 months ago, are scrapped.
frankly, the perk loadout being on the hud, will not change the nerfs we already recieve this year (if the killer mains wont complain about that to oblivious and also get that shut down too)
the stuff onward to feburary, i dont care about and frankly shouldnt need the operation health to begin with.
at most, maybe mmr changes, but i doubt they wont screw it up further.
i mean, every new content or rework, is : overtuned, boring or underbuffed to the extremes.
and i havent even mentioned the events and survivor content that has left me questioning why i bothered being a survivor main in the first place.
Re: Can 2025 PLEASE be the last year to release high mobility killers?
Its the combination of insane mobility and very strong to elite chase/anti-loop that makes these killers awful to play against.
