Re: I’m so sick and tired of 2v8 and chaos shuffle
Since BHVR aren't doing anything about slugging and tunnelling anymore, these modes are pretty much the only times that I'll play Survivor these days (Chaos Shuffle often has plenty of tunnelling and slugging, but at least Killers can't also bring 4 slowdown perks to compound the misery).
They are the closest thing we have to casual modes, so I'm usually happy to see them return because I know all my fellow casuals will be queuing up there too. These modes don't seem to appeal to the more competitive side of the player base, which helps to make the trials feel a little bit more chill.
That's not to say I don't want to see BHVR develop new modes or to continue to improve established ones, because I do. The ideal for me is a rotation of casual modes so that I don't really have to play regular 1V4 ever again if I don't want to.
Re: I’m so sick and tired of 2v8 and chaos shuffle
I love 2v8. Lots of other people do too. BHVR can’t make everyone happy. Whatever new modes they come up with are going to be loved by some and hated by others.
Re: comms and ranked system for balancing
How could they possibly "force" comms? How would they even know who's using them, especially on the consoles?
Re: comms and ranked system for balancing
the problem with word-based wheels is that language barriers exist
One really nice thing about a ping system or comms wheel is that localization is client side.
So if I use the wheel to say something like "going for unhook", then each player would hear that call out in their own language automatically.
And since the comms wheel callouts are determined by BHVR, there's no moderation issue with bad actors. Well, aside from spamming, which can be mitigated with ping cooldowns.
Re: Perk description overhaul seems to not communicate some important information
This is really great feedback, and I'm sure during the PTB we'll find more of things like that. We'll have a post up on the forums where you will be able to put any inconsistencies that you find, and we'll be more than happy to share them with the team. Thank you in advance!!

Re: Entitled Survivors
Lol I don't even watch my own mori's - I hook the last survivor every time because once you've seen a mori a few times, it's really not that exciting anymore. I don't blame anyone who has no interest in watching them. If you enjoy watching moris then a survivor abandoning doesn't take that away from you. You can still watch it!
Re: Will we see a legion rework??
Legion is definitely not in the immediate plans for a rework or update, that's not saying nothing will change with them - but it won't be any time soon, there's no current plans for them.

Re: new stats from brazilian dbd account (translated from u/bonelees_dip on reddit)
- I disagree about Cenobite in SoloQ: all it takes is one careless player on the box or in any case one "weak link", and the whole team suffers a lot.
Re: Will we see a legion rework??
Then you wouldn't need to see the first survivor to activate your power (you could be roaming around with it and still be able to track people) and it would make it easier to track good survivors on indoor maps.
Plus, the fact that you can't down during frenzy (without counting 5th hit) makes it a stupid decision to remove your tracking ability. But it's a decision that comes from the dark ages of DBD.
Oh, and the fact that we can still see pools of blood makes this decision even dumber… We're allowed to track injured survivors (more inclined to die) but not healthy ones?
