Your team doesn't have to die, they just need to get hooked. That is a massive difference. People can still survive and win the game with 2 hookstates

It's actually pretty simple.

Killers say they'll tunnel over everything. Perk improves chases? Sorry, I don't have time for multiple chases, I need to tunnel. Gens faster? Sorry, don't have time, need to tunnel. Faster heals? Sorry, can't give the survivors time to heal.

Anti-tunneling is getting boosted? Can't have that, killer outcry.

Basically, the argument lost all value a long time ago. Absolutely any improvement to survivors is an excuse to tunnel, and when killers get boosted we don't see decreases in tunneling. Some killers will always tunnel because winning is all they care about, some killers play in a more balanced manner because they are more interested in a fun match.

That part is the same for survivors. So among the 'elite' levels survivors will rush gens, killers will try to tunnel as quickly as possible, and I'm sure everyone will have fun.

Can we get some insight on why all blood pumps spawn within a seemingly 10 metre range of one another on what is seemingly the furthest point on the map from any of the actual blood gens? This event is starting to make gen perks feel mandatory in order to compensate for this spawn logic.

I try to play Wesker. This ######### happens, and I somehow manage to grab someone through a pallet to my side and miraculously not injure which causes their death because they just used StB.

I try to play Myers. I get the instant 180 lunge bug every match.

I try to play Ghoul. Some weird ######### happens to my camera during a leap 20% of the time.

I try to play Legion. The first person rigging is FUBAR.

I try to play Houndmaster. My dog gets stuck in a tree for half the match.

I play Blight. For some reason even better than ever before after the hitbox changes and isn't a buggy mess.

To be honest, facing a trickster has never been this much fun.

that's just negativity bias in action; how many times do ttvs get tunneled in the name of "content creation" or because the killer hates ttvs?
