Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
Nuked from orbit in terms of how it feels to play the killer yes. Balance? Probably not. Balance should be secondary to game feel. I think that's the point people just don't understand.
Re: Is The First OP?
I think he's alright.
I don't agree with pickups pausing worldbreaker, though.
Re: Giving up seems to be so common now, why?
Hmm, if they remove DC penalty in casual and increase it tenfold in ranked, I would definetly play ranked…
Re: Giving up seems to be so common now, why?
It started to become more frequent when MMR got introduced, and it really got worse after 6.1.0
I am not really sure as to why people give up so much.
I could understand abandoning in the end-game to skip the inevitable mori, so that you don't have to sit through one for the 200'd time. But outright DC's.. Either the players must have been on a long losing streak, and this match was the last straw, or it is something else causing it.
But the giving up, or team-trolling.. that one I can not understand either.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
An extra 5 second cooldown is not nearly enough to nuke how it feels to play Blight with how fast he can still catch up after power comes back, and if it does for you then half of the killers must feel like an absolute slog to play.
Re: Didn't they patch this out?
At this point we need to call it Starfish Code, in honor of how old bugs seem to regenerate after being cut off.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
that's still not nuked from orbit?
There are killers such a Trapper, Ghosty, Hag, etc that literally have no power if one survivor follows you yet its too much for the strongest killers to have a small cooldown for breaking a pallet? Not trying to make an argument about the weaker killers needing a buff or not, but 2 changes to Blight are not going to destroy him or bring him anywhere to the lower tiers; he just won't be AS strong as he is now.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
No I just think the idea of making a killer more dependent on their power for downs and then subsequently making it so that killer has their power up less often (and in an arbitrary way…losing your power because you broke a pallet feels bad even on Ghoul even if it's technically more balanced) in the same breadth is an idea born out of pure bias and/or spite rather than rationality.
Re: Didn't they patch this out?
Is there a dev who can maybe confirm that this was supposed to be patched out, or am I losing my mind?
Re: tired of power struggle being the most useless perk
it is indeed one of the spookiest jumpscares in dbd
