Re: So what update did I miss where maps now just have 30000 more pallets
Pallet density update, happened a few months back, I also agree it's beyond discouraging as a killer, your best bet to counter play pallet density is to play killers that hit through pallets, prime example being pyramid head, others like nemesis and xenomorph are basically all you got otherwise you're going to be pallet stomped out of existence. Your other option is insta kill killers like ghostface or the chainsaw guys, the game for killers since the pallet density update is actually horrible and not fun at all. It's literally every game you get somebody running the windows & pallet perk or a lot of the time they don't even have it, there's no dead zones they have a pallet and two windows plus a shack and jungle gym area in every section of every map. Bhvr hand holding at it's finest.
Re: Exposed effect is too common these days...
I never said that exposed is unbalanced, it simply too common and it never feels good to be hit with and on the other hand it doesnt feel good if you dont hit the survivor with 1 hit down.
Killers like ghostface, myers, billy, bubba, oni are boring to play against but cool to play as when you get 1 hit downs. When I play against them it feels like a waste of time. Kaneki is more fun to play against even when i get the succ through a boulder or a wall.
I never run vigil because there are more interesting choices, like literally any "press a button" perk is more fun to play with than passive that helps 5% of the time.
Sure I can run sprint burst with toolbox and mow through gens as fast as possible but whats the point?

Re: Regarding False Accusations ~
That's just an immature streamer with terrible sportsmanship and emotional management skills being salty about the game and wanting to lash out at someone and picking whoever presents themselves for it. Don't bother taking it seriously. Just report the cheater in post game chat and move on, these people aren't worth wasting time or energy on.
BHVR have said no such thing as any survivor that escapes when there's a cheater in the game being responsible, although I think maybe if you actively queue with someone you know is cheating, that's bannable.
Re: Please address lobby dodging / shopping
I do think killers do it more as they have information on their opponents, meanwhile survivors have it on their team mates and cant just leave lobby based on opponents but do agree both sides can affect the MMR balance of lobby.
I would really like the pre lobby to be replaces with a screen like dbd mobile had where you could see your other team mates perks and ad ons loading in, Killers would see what survivors are being played and items on this screen. but it would also give a matchmaking penalty for leaving the game at that screen as I would consider it a part of a match just the information / prep part of match.
Re: Please address lobby dodging / shopping
Like you said, it's an outdated feature altogether. All it does it encourage lobby dodging from both sides, not just killers do this by the way, that's a narrow minded way to look at it. Both killer players and survivor players are guilty of lobby dodging, which in turn makes both wait times to get into a match and matchmaking as a whole worse. But ultimately, the only ones we can truly blame is BHVR for keeping such a terrible feature in the game for so long even after adding an MMR system.
Players on both sides check profiles before the match to try and "self police" the lobby by dodging weak players on their team, or killers dodging strong players on the enemy team, which ironically just makes the matchmaking way worse for everyone as backfill tries to fill in players in an even larger range than before.
Removing pregame lobbies completely and simply matching 5 players together, having them press "Accept match" to verify that they're not AFK, and then going straight to loading screen and into the match would be infinitely better than what we have now. Offering screen could be skipped too in my opinion, since it's just boring BP offerings and 90% of the useful gameplay offerings are hidden anyway so what's the point in showing them and wasting time on that instead of just getting on with the match?
I don't think they'll change this but it baffles me that one of the players biggest complaints is matchmaking, but BHVR simply aren't willing to bite the bullet and do something dramatic, but effective like removing lobbies and letting people wait for slightly longer in queue to actually put together a good match.
Re: 2v1 improvements
I do like the 1v1 thing and I would add to it that the killer can use the same portal once a gate is open to leave the trail so they don't have to wait out the timer when survs are waiting in the gate while tagging
Re: 2v1 improvements
Honestly well thought out changes, but if I were to add something, I would cover the situations in which 1 survivor is downed, but the other one is actively being chased. It's a rather common scenario where killer finds both survivors, downs one, and then follow the other which is still in line of sight/their general location is known. I feel like the ability to pick oneself should be disabled in such scenario, otherwise it might result into endless (well not really endless because bleed out timer) back and forth slugs → chases, which won't solve the problem of slugging for 4k but make it more obnoxious for both sides instead.
I also feel like self-sacrifice needs some sort of condition to activate as well, because from personal experience, I have sometimes slugged in 2v1 when I downed, but then thought that I saw the other survivor, went to the area to check, discovered nothing and went back to pick up the slug. Plus it affects the Adept gamers, though those are rare
Re: 2v1 improvements
I like those changes.
I would remove hatch spawn offerings as well to make it that hatch always is in random locations. Meaning self sacrifices wouldnt guarantee escape of other survivour, because it would be unfair for killers, and annoying to adepts.
Pick up after 30s is not needed imo
And for those that cry that killers sometimes get demolished and get 4 gens done and 2 hooks. This post is about when survivours get demolished. If you want to, you can come up with solution to scenario, where killer gets demolished. Either way, both sides could have some tweaks
Please address lobby dodging / shopping
Killer ques are 8 mins in my area yet I've still had multiple people just dodge my survivor lobby.
I see MMR complained about all the time, meanwhile a killer dodging a lobby which makes that lobby have ruined MMR is ok?
Killers going next in the lobby is the same to me as a surviour going next when they realise its a killer they dont like. both are just leaving as soon as they see things that dont go their way.
Remove the killer being able to see survivors in the lobby, It is time and is a outdated feature in a pvp game.
