Let's not forget the performance issues, my Steam Deck sounding like a jet engine with this upgrade. Awful.

Never played slinger myself, but I do like going up against him as a survivor. So good for him! Hope to see him soon/more often

It is true - Houndmaster gets nothing for the collection :(. The developers posted a little cosmetic roadmap on the patch release. Taurie and Vee will get new cosmetics from the cats and dogs collection.

I am really missing the old updates with plenty of perk changes. The games feel stale, more on survivor side. I can count all perks killer used in 100 games with fingers on one hand and survivors are not so far from it either.

Really hoping we get an ETA on resolving the crashing issues. This is the first round of 2v8 that I actually really wanted to play, but I can't because I'll just rack up penalties from random crashing.

At that point, aren't you more disagreeing with the decision more than the mindset or reasoning?
If the issue is the combination of activation and effect, then logically it follows the two ways of addressing that are to change one of those two things. BHVR chose to change the activation over the effect, but there's no reason that's inherently worse or wrong.
It doesn't indicate anything about BHVR's mindset or biases that they chose the one solution over the other, it's just personal preference at that point, surely?
I think it's worth pointing out that BHVR didn't copy the common complaints about Fast Track, since they didn't bring up anything about punishing killers for doing their objective or encouraging slugging/tunnelling.
