Re: Mid-Chapter Teaser: "AllKill: Comeback" - Now with Map Teaser
Feels like the devs are proud of this release. I was pretty pessimistic about the state of the game but this could cook
Re: So since Konami have given R6S free creative control with Solid Snake's Lore, does that mean...?
You're purposely missing my point so there's not much point in repeating myself, but keep in mind your topic title and original reasoning. Its not about them "aiming to make money," its about their pursuit of money being more than a little important to whether or not your demands will ever get met.
Re: Mid-Chapter Teaser: "AllKill: Comeback" - Now with Map Teaser
Very excited to see everything that's coming up. I really feel like this is what people wanted 5 years ago
Re: So since Konami have given R6S free creative control with Solid Snake's Lore, does that mean...?
Honestly my point isn't even necessarily as much about how they handle IPs, that part was mostly relevant due to the comments about MGS and how konami gave another company cart blanche in regards to its lore and representation. The main point was that there is no other reason konami would(n't) make a decision regarding their content in other games or mediums that isn't centered around profit. That means that something like another future collab or licensing renewal absolutely could lead to improvements like they want, but that decision (and even consideration) would center around that fact alone. Honestly thats not even limited to konami, which is why speculation about things like lore freedom opening the gates or other similar justifications are meaningless. These aren't fangames or labors of love, they're marketed products to the people who own the rights. Konami in particular are just historically extremely blatant about their priorities.
Re: So since Konami have given R6S free creative control with Solid Snake's Lore, does that mean...?
You're literally hung up on history which isn't repeating itself rn.
History is what we learn from. This is not a leap of faith stance @Ryuhi is taking with a company like Konami, its an intelligent stance reflecting the history of Konami.
I feel you have zero knowledge in history regarding Konami, otherwise you wouldn't be spouting what you are. Do some research or don't, but Konami hasn't changed, they are the same as they were in history, which is very scummy with respect to their staff and IP collection. This stuff matters to people.
But hey, if none of this matters to you, continue to consume, consumer. Its what we were meant to do.
Re: What would you love to see in the next 2v8
I agree with this. This mode is not fun anymore. 30 minutes of queue to play one match as killer, come on and playing survivor on this feels like being a training bag
Re: Oni is too strong and too common in 2v8.
Oni is fine in this game mode, so would Legion if they put him back in
Re: 2v8 zombies 1 too many
Yes it is, and nemesis has a power that is extremely weak in 2v8 because you have to hit survivors 3 times and they can cleanse it and there are a ton of chests.
The slowdown it provides is part of the power. Again, how is this any different than any other killer with an alternative objective that is designed to slow the game down? That is literally the purpose of the zombies in normal mode is to slow the game down slightly.
Re: How is Leon from resident evil being hunted by legion a 16 year old in a mask
Honestly, Geralt could probably dispatch half of the killers with ease. Survivors are all just hamstrung in the realm.
