this isn't our first rodeo. I myself am a f13 refugee.
Re: Dbd fanbase is very fickle with competition
Illfonic and gun media already had their chances. They wasted it 🤷♂️
Re: What 1 killer perk and what 1 survivor perk would you change?
Killer Perk: Nowhere to Hide
Change aura reveal to center around the generator like it would make sense to be in the first place not on the killer. It should be killers Wiretap not I walk half a map aura reveal perk.
Survivor Perk: Distortion
Make token gain from generator fixing progress. Makes it more useful and as killer aura perks are just getting more and more. It also would make people do objectives.
Re: This game is going to die and they know it
I've been seeing endless Michaels since the rework was first announced, and I'm really hating slaughtering strike. I could do with less Micheal for a bit.
Re: This game is going to die and they know it
Im along with you. This is just a game with horror characters in it. The image of the horror icon died. With 2 chapters removed it feels like there cleaning up what's left instead of the game it once was.
I rather take my money where my money is worth spending. I completely stopped playing because the passion is gone, the icon is gone and it just seems like they just dont care anymore
Re: This game is going to die not by balance or bugs but because of cheaters
BHVR has been able to get away with ineffective anti-cheat because the player count has been historically high. They would simply be spending a lot of resources for minimal to no revenue benefit. They won’t do anything unless they are forced to with a significant drop in player count/revenue.
I haven’t seen an obvious cheater in a long time, but subtle cheaters are fairly common. I don’t bother reporting anymore because it’s a huge consumption of time to report and usually gets no response from BHVR.
Re: This game is going to die not by balance or bugs but because of cheaters
Cheating is very common in this game because there is no real protection. If they keep it subtle, they are perfectly safe. As a survivor, a bit of gen-repair boosting here and there; as a killer, a brief wall hack (very common on the killer side, since you can always search nearby and call it “gut feeling”)
Re: This game is going to die not by balance or bugs but because of cheaters
Cheaters are currently running rampant again. I just had a game where two people with almost identical names were acting suspiciously. They were strangely fast, regularly disappeared without a trace, and after I killed them both, the game suddenly crashed.
I just can't understand how a game like DBD, which is run by people who only have to worry about a single game and have over 1,000 employees, is still unable to keep cheaters in check. The worst part is that I can't even say for sure whether someone is cheating or not. There are so many different perks that I don't even know them all, the game is full of bugs, and cheating is rarely obvious. Being constantly suspicious is not a good vibe for a game.
Re: New, Lower Bloodpoints Incentives
This wouldn't surprise me but one has to wonder when enough is enough. I remember when the bonus used to be 100% consistently for me when one side needed players. Then it switched to usually being at 25-50%. Now we're down to 10%. It doesn't even stop at 1v4. We got less bloodpoints for the last 2v8 as well.
Re: Is it just me or are new killers pretty broken?
To be fair, while Ghoul and Krasue are annoying + too strong, there was a killer between them that's much more reasonably balanced and a killer before them that barely functions, so I don't think you can draw any patterns about new releases in general from those two.
Mostly this is a response to all the other people in here saying new killers are always OP then nerfed into oblivion, because that just is not true lol
