What's up with matchmaking?
Is there a type of error going on or something? I just can't seem to find a match as either Killer or Survivor I had 2 games as Killer but the queue times were roughly 15min each and as survivor took a rough 10mins.
Is there anything I can do would this be on my side?

Ok so, i'm gonna shorten this entire answer to make it more simple and save myself some time.
Basically, rank reset was 2 weeks ago and anyone who was in your rank is no longer there. Yellow and Grey ranks (You're in Yellow) is pretty dead and the queue times take a really long time to get...
It won't improve until you hit Green Ranks my friend it's good you're in the US, but since those ranks are really late into the season... it's not gonna get better till you hit Green Ranks (For queue times.)
So, the system is trying to find you people to play with that're above your rank... that's why the queue takes so long... it's trying to find people that're in your rank and can't because there are none (possible.) Than it searches elsewhere in the higher ranks.
That's why you sometimes see Yellow Ranks paired with Red Ranks and Purple Ranks. It's because the queue prioritizes players that have been waiting a long time... so they get first dibs on a new lobby after waiting so long.
"Simplified and short." You get the idea though.
