DEVS please rethink TOMB 4

please take a look at this post:

JUST WANTED TO SHARE THE TOME 4 CHALLENGES.

by @se05239

these challenges are insanly impossible, for both survivors and killers. it's no fun trying to do this. seriously nobody is going to bother, and nobody is gonna buy the premium pass! so PLEASE rethink tomb 4! thanks!

Im perfectly fine with these challenges, because finally there will be something challenging. Something, that you won't do in only one game or two. Maybe repeair 4 gens is bit too much, but the others defenitely aren't impossible. Do you want challenges like save 2 survivors or destroy 5 pallets all the time? These would be so boring. So im happy that devs actually made something hard.

I agree. Some of the challenges rely on luck and killer/survivor potatoism. This is not good. Really put my nose out of joint. As I mentioned previously, I am not spending another penny on the Archives/Pass, and I absolutely mean that.

if you read the post i'm regarding to, you will see plenty of people agreeing with me. maybe you are a spirit main, which would be a lot easier.

We don't even know how bad Tome 2-3 challenges will be.

The fact that lots of people agree with you doesn't make your opinion any more valid, or theirs any less so. It's fair enough for someone to enjoy the challenge of having something really hard to do.

Personally, I don't have a huge problem with the difficulty of the challenges - I think what most people are actually worried about is being able to complete the Rift in time. Because the Tomes aren't time-limited, I think it's perfectly fine to treat Tome 4 challenges like really difficult achievements that you have to put a lot of time and effort into to get. The problem is that they are tied to the time-gated Rift, which means the harder the challenges are, the more out-of-reach the Rift rewards are.

I think a good solution would be to just make harder challenges net higher rewards, so the Rift is still just as easy to progress in at Tome 4 as at Tome 1, and you have less challenges to do but they're more difficult to achieve. If master challenges award more Fragments than ordinary ones just because they're more challenging, by the same logic challenges in Tome 4 ought to award more than those in Tome 1.

You guys are overreacting (as always). I saw the challenges and aside 2 or 3, they seems easily doable.

i agree with you to some extenct. the higher the level more challenging it should be. of course! but not to the extreme where it's almost impossible! all i'm saying and a lot of survivors and killers, realistically not do-able.

i think for the first time in the post i'm regarding to, a lot of killers and survivors agree with eachother. we are usually against each other, now if we all saying the same thing, there must be a reason!๐Ÿ˜Ž

No One Escapes the Endgame, Decisive Light, Dark Senses, and Last Minute Hero will be the bane of my existence if these challenges come to fruition.

Hungry Jaws, One for Each, and Six Feet Under seem really tough, but doable if you play your cards just right.

That's fair. I guess I think it's okay if they're not very doable, as long as they're not completely impossible - that is, IF completing them weren't so necessary for Rift progression. That's where the problem really lies. So they need to make Rift progression during Tome 4 easier, or make the challenges themselves easier.

I agree 100%, the NOED one is probably the worst by far, not going to have any fun having to do that

The devs have said that the current Tome 4 challenges are placeholders, and they have plans to replace them. So it might not be time to panic yet.

Can't wait to have killers use lightborne 24/7 once tome 4 unlocks. Will make doing the survivor path literally impossible.

These challenges are place holders obviously. The devs aren't dumb they know that these challenges are stupid they just put them there because they wanted to mess with us for seeing info we shouldn't be seeing.

As others have said, Tome 4 is likely a place holder while they come up with more challenges. Considering that it comes out in about a month, theyโ€™re probably focusing more on level 2 and then 3. If it does come out with these challenges, then Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™ll change them with the amount of negative feedback theyโ€™ll receive.
